Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few individuals think that children learn better when they are sit with children of same academics skills while others believe that children study more when they are in classes with children who have distinct range of academic abilities. i believe that children learn more when they engage with students who have diverse knowlegde of acaddemics talent. In upcoming paragraph i can discuss both views along with my perspective.
On the one hand, those people who believe that children learn well when they placed with those children who have similar knowlegde about academics. Firstly, they know each other language which they feel more comfortable in talking, giving views on particular topics as well as share their common experience. For instance, a survey took place in Bangladesh in 2019 among 100 children who studied in 5th grade with same skills and finds they are more confident than others who have different skills as they feel secure among their classmates who have same skills.
On the contrary, few people think that children learn better when they are in class and sit next to those children who have diverse range of academic talent. Primarily, when all the children belongs to different regions and have distinct skills and they all sit in class together the they share their thoughts and opinions with each others. Apart from that they share their experience which took place in their lives so according to this all the students learn a wide range of information, which helps every student to boost their general knowledge and children will get more proficient in communication with other people at any topics as they placed in class with children who have count of different skills.
In the conclusion, as i discuss both views that if children sit with those who have same skills feel confident and learns without any hesitation because they have similar language, same experince while on the other side people who sit those students who have different knowlegde also feel supeior in talking as they gain differnent experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument for similar-ability grouping relies on a vague reference to a survey in Bangladesh, which lacks depth. The second body paragraph attempts to explain the benefits of diverse classrooms but remains repetitive, focusing primarily on 'sharing thoughts' without exploring the academic implications of such an environment. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced explanations of how these different settings specifically impact learning outcomes rather than just general social interaction.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the contrary', and 'In the conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as using 'In the conclusion' as a transition rather than a summary marker. Additionally, there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the phrase 'according to this all the students learn', which lacks a strong logical link to the previous sentence. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'academics skills' instead of 'academic abilities' and 'distinct range' where 'diverse' would be more appropriate. You also have recurring spelling errors, such as 'knowlegde' and 'acaddemics'. While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range of vocabulary and the frequency of errors in word formation and spelling prevent a higher score. Focus on learning collocations and proofreading for common spelling mistakes.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('children belongs', 'children... learns'), missing articles ('in 5th grade'), and awkward sentence construction ('as they placed in class'). While you attempt complex structures, they are often faulty, such as the sentence starting with 'On the one hand, those people who believe...'. To improve, you should focus on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly verb conjugation and article usage, before attempting more complex sentence patterns.
