Student answer (Band 6.0)
In a recent era, education in schools improves with technology. Some people assert that children learning skills far better if they are with similar academic activities while others believe that it would be more vast if their classes with different range of academic skills . Let’s discuss both view points in the upcoming paragraphs with my own viewpoint.
To begin with, there are benefits with similar kind of classes with same way of education. First and foremost, kids are openly communicate with each other and grab more knowledge for their studies. To explain, children are comfortable with one way of teaching and grasp the things easily as compared to try new ways for study. For instance, kids are openly discuss and share their issues with teachers and use to with old pattern for learning as some of children only habitual of manual type of learning rather than using any digital teaching. Therefore, similar academic abilities brings more outcome for learning.
On the other hand, multiple academic skills having diverse range of activities that children can perform and learn from them. Primarily, variation in teaching brings more fruitful outcomes in learning . Substantially, diverse academic abilities allows children to participate in different kind of tasks those are directly relate with their studies . For example, digital teaching techniques are more popular these days where children not just learn but also visualize those things that helps them to learn things quickly. Hence, indulgence of different academic abilities makes children learning more conveniently .
In my opinion, diverse academic skills are better choice to learn things more fastly as it boosts children confidence and their cognitive abilities . To elaborate, children uses latest learning techniques and share their thoughts with each other in group tasks where they are brainstorming and finish their group tasks .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The arguments regarding 'similar' versus 'diverse' abilities are repetitive and lack specific, well-explained examples. For instance, the mention of 'digital teaching' in the second body paragraph is not clearly linked to the concept of diverse academic abilities, making the argument feel slightly tangential. To improve, you should focus on providing more concrete, logical explanations for why one system might be superior to the other, rather than relying on general statements about technology.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'To encapsulate'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'Substantially' to introduce a point. Additionally, some sentences lack clear internal cohesion, making the flow feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help you achieve a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'In a recent era' instead of 'In recent years', and 'fastly' which is not a standard adverb. You also repeat the phrase 'academic abilities' and 'academic skills' frequently. To improve, try to use a wider range of synonyms and more sophisticated collocations, and ensure that your word choices are contextually appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('similar academic abilities brings'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('kids are openly communicate'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around periods. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the clarity of your writing. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will significantly improve your accuracy.
