Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few people think that childern gain more education when they are with similar academic abilities classes on ther hand few peoplr think its opposite that students learn more when they are with different academic abilities classes. In my opinion, both are equally advantaged for childern.i will explain my view points in upcoming paragraphs.
From my perspective, students who are learning with their same academic abilities students become more confident and comfortable while studying as they all are equal and they feel it easy to learn with them. for example, they can ask questions to each other if did not get any point they will not feel any shame to ask from them.In adddition to it, teachers also treat all the students equally and teach them on their level as everyone is same in their class. However if they learn according to their ablities then it is best practise for them as they do not have to get any stress and burden of studies that they are in competition with others in class.
In comparison, if all students are of different ablities in one class then they can increase their capability of learning. For instance if someone have any issue in any chapter they can ask other classmate who knows better from which they can increase and share their educations. furthermore, if all are of different levels there shoud be competition between them by which infants can take their studies more seriously and work more on it to perform well in class. Although , it will act like a push to students to do better in their exams.
in conclusion, both ways are better for education but i believe that i will go with the first one that students do not have to be in stress and tension of getting better. they would learn in their comfort level.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument for mixed-ability classes mentions 'competition' and 'sharing education' but lacks specific, well-developed examples to illustrate these points effectively. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, you should aim to expand on your points with more detailed reasoning and clearer real-world examples to demonstrate a deeper understanding of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'In addition to it', 'In comparison', 'Furthermore'). There are also issues with referencing; for instance, the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt. While the logical progression is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated linking words and occasional awkward phrasing between sentences limits the flow. Improving the variety and naturalness of your cohesive devices would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There is frequent repetition of basic words like 'students', 'learn', and 'abilities'. Some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'infants' to refer to school-aged children and 'share their educations'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'childern', 'ther', 'peoplr', and 'ablities', which occur frequently throughout the text. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling of common terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'if someone have any issue' (subject-verb agreement) and 'they will not feel any shame to ask from them' (preposition error). Punctuation is inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods, and capitalization errors (e.g., 'i will explain'). These frequent errors, while not completely impeding communication, occur throughout the text and demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement is essential.
