Student answer (Band 6.0)
Education is key of success. It plays very important role in individuals life. Some people think that all children with IQ in a same class is good for better learning but other surmise that students with different ability of learning is more effective. I will discuss my opinion in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with , Why class of similar level of learning things is beneficial in education. Firstly, they feel confident and comfortable. To explain it , if all students have similar thinking power, it would be easy for them to learn things because instructed have same way of teaching to teach them. They are also feel confident while participating in class activities because there is no any student with sharp mind to compete them . For instance , if there is any learner with good power of learning studying with these students. Somewhere, it become barrier for them . They may be feel uncomfortable if they want to put no questions to tutor . They feel like nominaters.
On the other hand , children with mix mindsets would be more important to get education. To elaborate it , multitalented students have creative ideas. If , students with low academic abilities study with them . It would be good for them to build their cognitive power. Moreover, if there is competition in the class , they also try to do their best to achieve high positions in academics.
Overall, although there are very advantages to study with student who have large learning power but I’m agree with that, student do study with similar iq level because they are same phase of thinking there is no one competent to supress them

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of why similar-ability classes are beneficial relies on the idea of 'confidence,' but the reasoning is repetitive and lacks depth. The counter-argument regarding mixed-ability classes is also brief, mentioning 'creative ideas' without providing a concrete example or a more thorough explanation of how this impacts learning outcomes. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more specific examples or logical consequences, ensuring that the discussion is fully developed rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Firstly,' and 'On the other hand.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as the phrasing 'To explain it' or 'To elaborate it.' Additionally, the transition between ideas within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed. The conclusion is also somewhat abrupt and contains grammatical errors that make the final summary difficult to follow. Improving the flow between sentences by using a wider variety of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'good power of learning' and 'large learning power,' which are not standard collocations. There are also some word-choice errors, such as 'nominaters' and 'surmise,' which do not fit the context correctly. To improve, focus on learning more academic collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to education. Using more precise terms will help you express your ideas with greater clarity and sophistication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('They are also feel confident'), missing articles ('in a same class'), and awkward sentence construction ('I’m agree with that'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to distract the reader. You should focus on proofreading your work to correct basic errors in verb tense and sentence structure to improve your accuracy.
