Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent times, learning plays vital role in achieveing the goals of the life.Several individuals think that teenagers can do better if they study in classes of same academic abilities, while others say different range of academics is better for learning. This essay will provide both the views alongwith my opinion in upcoming paragraphs.
On the one one hand, studying in class of same academic abilities for children is beneficial.First and foremost,it increases the understanding of children easily without going in debrief. To elaborate, if they learn the things in same phase then they donot get difficulities in learning, and even the things will not be complicated. To site an example, as a student is studying in Grade 12 , same academic abilities in class allow them to learn in short period of time before exams, which results to be better grade in final term. Furthermore, same abilities allows children to interact easily with one another as equal mind thinking makes the hard into easier one without creating conflicts.
On the other hand , diverse range of academics is also better. Firstly,it enchance the choices of children to achieve better goals in life. To explain, children with wide range of abilities have the opportunities to think about world 's best college or university for future carrier, and choices allows them to be part of competition exams. For example, if student get different abilities in one classroom , that allow them to clear the competitor exams such as NSO,IMO and so on without any burden.Morever, various opportunities in one class decreases stress of children because they donot have to think differently for every subject .
In my opinion, children must think equally in both the conditions as sometimes in small areas wide range of abilities are not avialable in one classroom due to which they must have to learn differntly. This various kinds are helpful equally at some extent.
In conclusion, same abilities allows them to understand properly and interacts them with one another, whereas different things increases their choices as well as decreases stress.Although, equally thinkimg for both conditions also allow them to learn perfectly in my perspective.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both views and give a personal opinion, so the response is relevant to the prompt. The first body paragraph explains that students of similar ability may learn at a shared pace and interact as equals; the second mentions wider choices and reduced stress in mixed-ability classes. However, these points are often asserted rather than clearly explained. For instance, the link between mixed abilities and passing competitive exams is difficult to follow, and the conclusion that children should “think equally in both the conditions” does not establish a clear preference. Develop each view with a more convincing explanation or example, then state directly which classroom arrangement you consider more effective and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, an opinion paragraph, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and some links between claims are unclear. For example, the move from diverse abilities to “world’s best college” and competition exams does not show how mixed-ability teaching produces those outcomes. The opinion paragraph also introduces a point about small areas without connecting it clearly to the earlier arguments. Use linking phrases to express cause and contrast precisely, and make each paragraph develop one central idea in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “academic abilities,” “interact,” “competition exams,” and “decreases stress,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “without going in debrief,” “same phase,” “equal mind thinking,” and “different range of academics.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “achieveing,” “difficulities,” and “Morever,” also reduce control. Aim for natural phrases that describe classroom learning, such as “learn at a similar pace,” “peer interaction,” and “a mixed-ability class.” Check spelling and collocations carefully so that your ideas are expressed precisely rather than requiring interpretation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if they learn the things in same phase” and clauses beginning with “which.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “learning plays vital role,” “same abilities allows,” and “if student get different abilities … that allow them.” Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly around commas and spaces after them. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular/plural agreement and articles. For example, revise “same abilities allows” to “similar abilities allow.”
