The graph below gives information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The line graph illustrates information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.

Overall, the peak level of participants is in the film club. And table tennis, Martial arts and musical performance were increasing. But amateur dramatics was fastly decreased.

On the one hand, in 2000 the number of participants in film club was 65. And it is in the peak level. But it low in 2010 but again it was raising in 2020, 68 people participate in it.

Secondly, Martial arts and musical performance both were low in 2000 to 2005. But in 2010 it sharply increased. And in 2020, 40 participate in Martial arts and 15 in musical performance.

Moreover, table tennis was decreased in 2000 to 2010 only 20 members were participated in it but, in 2015 it went in peak level and in 2020 it raised, 55 members were participated in it.

At last Amateur dramatics was increasing in 2000 to 2005 but after that in 2010 to 2020 it fastly below. And the number of participants in it completely disappeared.
