Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers the main features of the graph, such as the trends for the Film club and Amateur dramatics. However, the report is incomplete; the final sentence is cut off, and the data for Musical performances is not fully described. While the overview identifies the main trends, the lack of completion and some inaccuracies in data reporting (e.g., describing the Film club's starting point) prevent a higher score. To improve, ensure all data points are clearly presented and the summary is fully concluded.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical use of cohesive devices. Transitions like 'Whilst' and 'Moreover' are used, but they often connect ideas that are grammatically disjointed. The progression of information is sometimes confusing, particularly in the description of Martial arts and the final incomplete paragraph. More careful planning and the use of clearer linking phrases would help the reader follow the comparisons more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The range of vocabulary is limited and contains several spelling errors, such as 'teh', 'obserevd', 'Ameteur', and 'drametically'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'social performers' instead of 'social activities' and 'number of graph'. While the student attempts to use descriptive verbs like 'surged' and 'plummet', the frequent errors and imprecise terminology hinder the overall quality of the writing. Focusing on accurate spelling and learning topic-specific collocations for data description would be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response relies on a mix of simple and attempted complex sentences, but these are frequently marred by grammatical errors. Issues include incorrect verb tenses, missing articles, and faulty sentence structure, such as 'in the remaining 15 years in flucated in the last it still at approximately 35'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing spaces after periods. The grammatical control is insufficient to maintain clarity throughout the text, and the incomplete final sentence further impacts the overall accuracy.
