The graph below gives information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The graph displays the data of total participants in multiple activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, the applicants are highest in film club activity during the whole period and the least in Amateur dramatics by the end of the period. The other candidates from Martial arts, Table tennis and Musical performances, where seen flactuated during the whole period.
In the year 2000, the students in the Film club activity were around 65, with the slightly drop in 2010 and rised in 2015 continued till 2020 by around 69 applicants. Following with Table tennis and Musical Performances were around 15 and 0 respectively. Table tennis reached to zenith point by the year 2020 around 55 students and musical performances gradually increased from 2010 till 2020 approximate 19 applicants.
The Martial arts candidates in 2000 with almost 36, moderatly fluctuated every year and remain same number of applicants in 2020. Whereas, Amateur dramatics activity students were around 25 in 2000 and slightly increase in 2005 by 4 applicants, then the down fall started in 2010 and in the year 2020 participants are around 5.
