The graph below gives information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given bar graph illustrates get information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.
Overall, The participants in Film club showing the highest number of percentage with over the period. Whereas, The Musical performances was started in 2005 with no participants and growing significantly through the year.
In Film club, in year 2000, the number of participants was estimated 63 percent and it have moderate change over the period. In year 2020, the number was increased only about 2 percent. Whereas, the Musical performance in 2000 was not started, after 5 years the participants showing intreset and start envolving and it rose upto 14 percent by the 2020.
On the other hand, The Amateur dramatics participants was about 36 percent and it increase only about 2 percent in year 2005, After 2005, the number of participants in this activity was decreased significantly and in year 2020 there was only about 5 percent participants left. While, in Martial arts there was almost 37 percent of participants it increased and decreased moderately with over the period. Whereas, in table tennis activity there was about 17 percent of participants and it increase moderately till 2010, after 2010 there was a huge rose in participants by the year 2020 was about 53 percent.
