The graph below gives information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

 

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The graph illustrates the number of participants for different activities that were held at one social center in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.

Overall, there were 70 participants involved in the activities from 2000 to 2020. Six activities were performed, that name was filmclub, martial arts, amateur dramatics, table tennis and musical performance.

Initially, film club activity was perfomed by 65 participants at heighest level from 2000 to 2020. There were minor changed recorded in 2010, in which number of participants were about 60. In contrast the dramatic change were seen. In The table tennis that started from 15 participants in 2000 to 2010, and it increased to 55 participants from 2010 to 2020.

On the other hand, the activities of martiial arts remained stable with 35 participants and there were minor ups and downs recorded from 2000 to 2020. The number of participants were decreased in Amateur dramatics activities that started from 25 participants in 2000 and ended with 5 participants in 2020.
