Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response falls significantly short of the 150-word minimum, containing only 107 words. This under-length severely restricts the student's ability to fully address all parts of the task. While the student attempts to provide an overview and mention some trends—such as the dominance of the film sector and the decline in amateur drama—the response is cut off mid-sentence before sufficient data can be reported or compared. Consequently, the task is addressed only partially, warranting a band score of 4.0 for Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The text lacks proper paragraphing and an effective overall structure. Although transitional expressions like 'Overall' and 'At the start' are attempted, the information and ideas are not arranged coherently. The abrupt ending ('Moreover a big conflict is seen between table tannis and amat') further disrupts the flow and progression of the writing. Cohesive devices are either misused or mechanical, making the overall arrangement difficult to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is very limited and basic, with frequent word-choice and spelling errors that strain the reader. Examples include 'competitors for distinguish performane' instead of participants, 'mar martial', and 'tannis'. The student attempts some less common items such as 'dominent', but inaccurate spelling and lexical control impede clear communication throughout the short text.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The grammatical range is very limited, relying heavily on basic sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'numbers display on Y-axix' (passive voice error) and 'the interest of people remain same' (subject-verb agreement). Furthermore, the response is incomplete, ending abruptly in the middle of a sentence, which significantly affects the structural integrity and accuracy of the writing.
