The graph below gives information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourne, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
This line chart depicts the number of participants involved in different activities at one social centre in Melbourn,Australia between duration of year 2000 to 2020. At a glance, there was a clear dcrease in participants in Amarteur dramatics after the year of 2005.
To commence with, Film club had steady record during this duration, but only between year of 2005 to 2010 it decreased slightly by around 5 participants.Musical performance was one and only activity which had zero participants during the years 2000 to 2005, but after this duration it increased dramitically by 0 to 15 participants in the year 2005 and 2020 respectively.Table tennis had one of the least participants involved during the years 2000 to 2010, but after that it hiked by almost 2.5 times till the year 2020. Martial arts had up and down nature in participants, it had increased and decreased agin and and again and then in the final year it went back to the same number of participants.
To sumup, all the activities had been represented clearly with number of participants,while among all the activities Film club was one of the favourite activities for participants.
