Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover all five activities and identify the main contrast between the consistently high film-club figures and the decline in amateur dramatics. Several reported values and trends are broadly accurate: film-club participation falls to about 60 in 2010, while table tennis rises sharply to above 50 by 2020. However, the overview is incomplete and partly inaccurate: musical performances were not the lowest by 2020, since amateur dramatics fell to about 6, compared with roughly 18 for performances. The claim that film-club participation remained the same as in 2000 also misses its rise to about 66 in 2020. Some comparisons, especially the changes in martial arts and amateur dramatics, need clearer and more precise reporting.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs that group activities together. This gives the information a coherent overall arrangement. Linking phrases such as “Moreover,” “Moving further,” and “After that” help signal progression, and the reader can generally follow the sequence of years. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “both activities count was followed opposite trend” does not clearly explain which activity rose or fell, and “Other Martial dramatics” makes the reference difficult to understand. Organise the comparisons around clear trends—for instance, declining amateur dramatics versus fluctuating martial arts—and use pronouns and transitions only when their references are unmistakable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “participants,” “increasing trend,” “decreased,” and “approximately,” so the main subject is usually understandable. However, the range and control of collocations are limited, and several repeated or inaccurate phrases make the report less natural. Expressions such as “count of inroled people,” “get participated,” and “the count was jumped” are not appropriate ways to describe graph data. There are also spelling errors, including “inroled,” “Amature,” and “Addationally,” and the activity name “Martial dramatics” appears to confuse two categories. Use standard reporting language such as “the number of participants,” “stood at,” “rose to,” and “fell to,” while checking the spelling of activity labels.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the response uses time references and clauses to describe changes. Some sentence structures communicate the intended trend, such as the film-club description from 2000 to 2010. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “it was slightly decreased and become 60” needs consistent tense and an appropriate verb form, while “both activities count was” has a subject–verb agreement problem. Phrases such as “17 number of participants was” also show difficulty forming grammatical quantity expressions. Build accuracy with patterns such as “the number rose from X to Y” and “participation remained stable,” and check tense consistency when describing past data.
