Overall, Film club has the most number of pariticpants throughout the period. Table Tennis experienced the highest increase in participants from 2000 to 2020, followed by musical performances, whereas amateur dramatics recorded the highest decline in number of participants over the same period.

Film club has the most stable number of participants from 2000 to 2020, ranging in between 60 to 70 members, followed by martial arts, which ranged from 30 to 40 participants over the same period. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You address the task with a clear overview, identifying the film club as the largest throughout, table tennis as the strongest riser, and amateur dramatics as the main decliner. Most comparisons match the chart, including the fall in amateur dramatics to fewer than 10 participants and table tennis becoming one of the largest activities by 2020. Some details are imprecise: table tennis begins at about 16, not approximately 20, and musical performances first rise from zero in 2010, not 2005. The film club’s range is closer to 60–66 than 60–70. These small inaccuracies and broad descriptions keep the reporting from being consistently precise, but the main features are selected and supported clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response is organised into an introduction, an overview, and two detail paragraphs, with a generally clear progression from the main trends to comparisons. Linking expressions such as “Overall,” “followed by,” and “in contrast with” help the reader follow the account. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent overall arrangement and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. However, the final paragraph repeats the table-tennis increase and amateur-dramatics decline already stated in the overview, while the detail paragraphs do not consistently group or compare all series. Develop the body paragraphs around clearer comparisons and avoid restating the same ranking to make progression more efficient.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for describing trends, including “ranging,” “increase,” “decline,” “stable,” and “highest,” so the meaning is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word-choice or collocation problems reduce precision: “has the most number” is awkward, “suffered the highest increase” is not a natural description of growth, and “making them one of the largest club” is unclear and mismatched in number. There are also spelling errors in “pariticpants,” “Muscial,” and “expeirenced.” Aim for accurate, natural trend language and check spelling carefully; this would make the account more fluent and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and more complex forms, including the relative clause in “martial arts, which ranged…” and the contrast structure “in contrast with amateur dramatics.” Most sentences remain understandable, and errors rarely obstruct the message. Some grammatical problems persist, however: “ranging in between 60 to 70” has an incorrect preposition pattern, and “making them one of the largest club” has unclear pronoun reference and faulty singular/plural agreement. The opening sentence is also long and would be easier to control if divided or simplified. Practise accurate comparison structures and agreement while retaining the complex forms you already attempt.
