the graph describes the information on the number of the participants who participated in different activities at social center in Melbourne and Australia between year 2000 to 2020.

Firstly, in table tennis we can see a visible rise in the number of participants throughout. The rise started from the year 2010 to 2020. as compared to table tennis we can clearly see a dramatic fall in amateur dramatics. From 2000 to 2005 we can see rise in the number of participants but after 2005 the downfall began and at the end there were aboy 5 to 6 participants.

In the film club there is slight fall and rise of the participants. In martial arts we can see fluctuations in the number of participants but in the year 2010 there was a rise in the number pf people.

In musical performances firstly there were no participants for the first five years from 2000 to 2005 but in 2005 the interest of people started devolving and they began to participate in that activity and after that we can only see rise in the number of participants tehre is no fall in their number.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify several relevant patterns, especially the strong rise in table-tennis participation and the decline in amateur dramatics, and you mention that film-club numbers change only slightly. However, the response gives no clear overall summary of the main features, and some descriptions are inaccurate or incomplete. Table tennis rises from 16 in 2000, not only from 2010; musical performances begin to increase in 2010, not 2005; and martial arts fluctuates without a distinct rise specifically in 2010. The film-club trend is also more precisely described as broadly stable, ending slightly above its starting point. To make the report more complete, give an overview first and support each key trend with accurate comparisons across the full period.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response is arranged by activity, which gives the reader some structure, and phrases such as “as compared to” and “after 2005” help signal relationships. However, there is no distinct overview paragraph, so the main message is not established before the details. The sequence also feels like a list of separate observations rather than a clear progression from the most important trends to the smaller changes. Some linking is repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “we can see,” and punctuation sometimes runs sentences together, as in “participants. In martial arts.” Organise the report into an introduction, an overview, and grouped detail paragraphs, using links that show contrast and change more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for describing trends, including “visible rise,” “dramatic fall,” “slight fall,” and “fluctuations.” These choices make the general direction of several series understandable. However, the range is limited and some expressions are imprecise or unnatural, such as “the downfall began,” “the interest of people started devolving,” and “there is no fall in their number.” Repeated wording such as “the number of participants” and “we can see” also reduces variety. Spelling errors, including “aboy,” “pf,” and “tehre,” further weaken control. Build a small set of accurate trend phrases and use them to describe changes in participation, rather than relying on conversational or unclear expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with time clauses, for example, “From 2000 to 2005 … but after 2005 the downfall began.” This shows some effort to connect events across time. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the report awkward. Examples include “at social center” and “between year 2000 to 2020,” where articles and prepositions are not controlled, as well as “there were no participants … but in 2005 … they began,” which gives an inaccurate time relationship. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent. Practise accurate past-tense reporting and use a few controlled complex structures, checking articles, prepositions, and punctuation.
