The diagram below shows the process for recycling plastic bottles.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

How plastic bottles are recycled

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The gvien image illustrates the recycle process of plastic bottles.

Overall, process takes place in 9 consequitive steps beginning from the bottle being disposed it followes many steps, and after being processed it produceses end products.

At first the bottle which is disposed is carred out in a vehicle to recycling center, there the plastic bottles get sorted manually into recyclable waste and non-recyclable waste.Then compression of the cans takes place into blocks, and gets crushed between two wheels into tiny pieces which will be washed in a container for the further process.By the help of machines the produced plastic pellets are heated to form raw material.

The raw material that is optained will be piled up into stacks on a wodden board, this material is used to produce end products such as boxes,clothes,recycling bags,pencils and water bottles. In this way it is a continues cycle called as recycling process.
