Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify the subject and describe several central stages, including collection, sorting at a recycling centre, compressing, crushing, washing, pellet production and heating. You also mention examples of end products. However, the account is only partial: sorting and the rejection of unsuitable bottles are not explained, and the overview that bottles are collected and made into “new bottles” misses the wider range of products and the closed-loop nature of the process. The final comments about starting a business and making a profit are not shown in the diagram and take space away from describing its stages. Focus on an accurate overview and report the process from disposal through to the return of products to use.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable sequence, and phrases such as “To begin with” and “after that” help the reader follow the main stages. However, most of the process is compressed into one long paragraph, with repeated “then” and “after that” creating a mechanical list rather than clear progression. The opening and conclusion also do not function effectively: the introduction promises a comparison, while the conclusion introduces business advice unrelated to the diagram. Use separate paragraphs for the overview and the detailed stages, and connect stages with precise references such as “the sorted bottles” and “the resulting pellets” to make the sequence easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “compressing,” “crushing,” “washing,” “pellets” and “raw material,” which helps communicate the topic. However, the range is limited and several choices or forms are inaccurate or unclear, such as “garbig,” “plastic pallets,” “shoppingbags” and “sale it on market places.” “Make comparison of relevent one” is also an awkward and misspelled phrase, and “products” is repeated without much variation. Aim for accurate, task-specific terms and natural collocations, for example “recycling bin,” “plastic pellets,” “consumer products” and “sold in shops.” Check spelling and word forms carefully so that the reader can understand each stage without guessing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to describe a sequence and includes some longer constructions, but sentence control is inconsistent. Several clauses lack a clear subject or finite verb, as in “Moreover then crushing the bottles into small pieces” and “after that producing plastic pallets.” There are also recurring agreement and verb-form problems: “the plastic bottles collects and producing” and “the all process provide.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also unreliable, particularly in “the all process” and the run-on sequence beginning “To begin with.” Use complete sentences with a consistent passive form for the stages—for example, “The bottles are collected, sorted and compressed”—and check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation.
