Student answer (Band 6.0)
The process diagram illustrates how to recycled plastic bottles.
Overall, The process completed in nine different steps and three various stages such as collecting, manufacturing and final product. This process is start from dropping wastage bottles into a bin and ending with producing new products. Most interestingly this process is a cycling process.
According to the diagram, Individuals drop their rejected bottles into a bin which is collected by a truck for reproduction. This bottle is delivered to the recycling centre for sorting that which bottle is suitable or not.
After sorting, bottles are compressed into a block and droped into a crusher for crushing to make strips which is droped it into a washing jar. By the ending of washing, this cleaned strips poured into a machine for producing plastic pallets and provide heat to make raw materials.
In the final stage, this raw materials then used to make various types of product such as bottles, plastic jar, pencil, bag and T-shirt etc and delivered it to the supershop for customers. This process is remained continue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You cover the main stages and provide a clear overview: the process has nine steps, begins with bottles being put in a bin, and forms a cycle that produces new goods. The account follows the diagram from collection and sorting through processing to end products, and examples such as a T-shirt, pencils and a bag are relevant. Some details are less fully or precisely reported, however. The diagram shows unsuitable bottles being separated at the sorting stage, but this distinction is only implied by “which bottle is suitable or not.” It also shows the products returning to the start of the cycle; your claim that they are delivered to a “supershop for customers” is not shown. More precise coverage of these features would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response is arranged in a sensible sequence, with an introduction, an overview and paragraphs that trace the process from collection to the final products. Linking expressions such as “After sorting” and “In the final stage” help the reader follow the stages. The overview also groups the process into broad phases, which supports the organisation. Some cohesion is less controlled: “This process is start from…” repeats the opening idea, while “By the ending of washing” and “This process is remained continue” do not clearly express the intended relationships. References such as “this bottle” and “this raw materials” are also not always clear or consistent. Use concise transitions and check that each pronoun clearly refers to its intended item.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant process vocabulary, including “sorting,” “compressed,” “crusher,” “washing,” “raw materials” and “producing,” so the stages are generally recognisable. There is also some attempt to use more specific terms, such as “rejected bottles” and “various types of product.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “reproduction” does not describe the truck’s role, “washing jar” is not the diagram’s washing stage, and “plastic pallets” appears to mean plastic pellets. Spelling and word-form slips such as “droped” and “pallets” further affect clarity. Build a reliable set of process terms and check spelling and collocations before using less familiar vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a relative clause in “Individuals drop their rejected bottles into a bin which is collected by a truck” and a sequence of actions in the processing paragraph. However, control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “how to recycled,” “The process completed,” “this process is start,” and “this process is remained continue.” Agreement and number are also problematic in “this raw materials,” while the final sentence lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise describing processes with consistent present simple passive forms, for example, “The bottles are collected,” and check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
