Nowadays, there is a debate between competition and cooperation is more beneficial. Some people argue that compitition at work, at school and in daily life is a good thing and shoes how people perform, while other believe that we should focus more on working together. this essay will discuss both views.

On the one hand, who supports competition believe that it motivates people to work harder and improve their mistakes or anything that are weak. when students wants good grades, he/she works harder and study seriouly to get that marks or grades. Similarly, when employees compete for promotion, they become more productive and creative for their promotion. For instance, in sports and business, competition leads to great achievement and innovation because try themselves to give their best. Without competition, people become lazy and loss the chance to progress.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear personal view: competition can motivate people, but cooperation should take priority. The examples about students, employees and the COVID-19 response are relevant, and the conclusion restates the main contrast. However, the two positions are not developed equally. The benefits of competition receive several explanations, while the cooperation paragraph mainly says that sharing ideas speeds up tasks and reduces stress. The claim that competition can lead to innovation, for example, would be stronger with a specific explanation or example. Develop the cooperation argument further and explain more precisely how your balanced position would work in everyday settings. The response meets the task’s length requirement; 12 words copied from the prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the discussion. The progression is generally logical, but some links are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “In my opinion, i believe they both should be balanced is necessary” combines ideas without a clear grammatical connection, and “While cooperation on the other hand” creates an awkward transition. The cooperation paragraph also ends abruptly, with little development before the opinion paragraph begins. Use linking phrases selectively, make references between sentences explicit, and build each body paragraph around a clear point followed by explanation and an example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “competition,” “cooperation,” “productive,” “creative,” “innovation,” and “long-lasting success.” There are also attempts to express more specific effects, such as competition making people “selfish” and cooperation building “trust.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms or collocations are noticeable, including “compitition,” “strees,” “jealously,” “make people motivate,” and “give their best.” These reduce precision and sometimes make the phrasing unnatural, even though the overall meaning remains understandable. Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships as complete phrases. Replacing repeated general wording with precise expressions would also help you explain the effects of competition and cooperation more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “Without competition, people become lazy” and “as too much competition can make us selfish.” The overall meaning is usually clear, but some errors in sentence structure, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation remain. For example, “Nowadays, there is a debate between competition and cooperation is more beneficial” contains two competing clause structures, while “when students wants” and “people who supports” show subject–verb agreement problems. The sentence beginning “In my opinion” also lacks a clear structure, and several sentences start with lowercase letters. Practise building complete clauses, checking that subjects and verbs agree, and punctuating sentence boundaries. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
