Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the discussion and state a preference for cooperation in the introduction and conclusion. Relevant points include competition encouraging people not to give up and cooperation enabling teamwork, illustrated by scientific work and transport technology. However, these ideas are often asserted rather than explained: for example, the claim that competition makes people creative and the point about countries fostering one another are unclear or insufficiently supported. Your position is present, but the conclusion briefly treats both views as equally correct before restating your preference, so it is not fully consistent. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example, and make your final judgement more direct.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for competition and cooperation, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the two viewpoints, and signposts such as “To begin with” and “On the other hand” show an attempt to guide the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several links are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “therefor a lot of countries now are foster more than other countries” does not clearly connect to the preceding point, while “As a result” introduces a summary rather than a consequence. Some sentences run ideas together, making relationships difficult to follow. Organise each paragraph around one clear reason, then explain and illustrate it, using linking expressions only where their meaning fits.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competition,” “cooperation,” “teamwork,” “creative,” and “technology,” and you use examples such as aircraft and high-speed trains. However, the range is limited and errors in spelling, word form, and collocation are frequent enough to make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “belive,” “rivel,” “cooperte,” “crativity,” and “reach their destination in short time.” Some choices are also imprecise, such as “countries now are foster more than other countries,” which obscures your intended meaning. Build accuracy with common topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; precise, natural phrases will make your ideas clearer without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, but the range is limited and complex constructions are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and sentence structure appear in phrases such as “we should to cooperate,” “it helps us grwing up,” and “a team create a new technologie make life easily.” Articles, agreement, and punctuation also need attention; for example, “the cooperation the best way” is missing a verb, and several sentences join clauses without clear punctuation. These problems sometimes make the intended relationships hard to follow. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time, checking subject–verb agreement, verb patterns after modal verbs, articles, and sentence boundaries.
