In recent years, many people think that competition at work place, learning place and in daily life is a good thing but others argue that cooperation is a good thing, rather than competing against each other. This essay will examine both perspectives before arguing that cooperating bring positive change into a society.

On the one hand, competition at different fields of life like work place, school and in daily life is a good development. It motivates people to work harder to get desire results. Competition improve skills in individuals to get their goals. It give chance to polish their hidden skills.

On the other hand, cooperation in all fields of life is better because it builds teamwork when people discuss the issue with eachother it creates several ideas and solutions to overcome the problem. For instance, if a person having problem in study and it increasing stress that how this question will solve but the qualified person solve that query it will reduce stress and anxiety and make peaceful environment.

In conclusion, where competition with eachother is essential, it motivates to do better and harder to get their goals. Competition pushes personal growth, but cooperation is essentail for a peaceful comunity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the question and state a preference for cooperation, especially in the introduction and conclusion. The point that competition can motivate people to work harder is relevant, and the study example gives some support to cooperation. However, the discussion is brief and ideas are mostly asserted rather than explained: for example, “Competition improve skills” does not show how this happens or provide a specific illustration. Your position also becomes less clear in the conclusion, which says competition is “essential” after favouring cooperation. The response contains 185 words, so it is 65 words below the 250-word minimum; 16 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each view with a reason and a concrete example, then state your balanced position consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in perspective, and the example is placed with the cooperation argument. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, as several claims are listed without being linked through explanation or evidence. The study example is difficult to follow because its steps and participants are not clearly expressed. The conclusion also repeats earlier points without resolving the tension between supporting cooperation and calling competition essential. Build each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it, and connect the example explicitly to that claim; use clear references such as “this support” rather than repeated general wording.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic contrast, including “competition,” “cooperation,” “teamwork,” “solutions,” and “stress and anxiety.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, such as “good thing,” “different fields of life,” and “get their goals.” Some word choices and collocations make the meaning less natural: “get desire results,” “polish their hidden skills,” and “a person having problem in study.” Spelling errors such as “essentail” and “comunity” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise phrases suited to the topic, and check spelling carefully. Using a wider range of accurate terms for motivation, shared problem-solving, and personal development would make the discussion clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast in the opening and a conditional example beginning “if a person…”. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “cooperating bring” and “Competition improve,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect, and “It give chance,” which also needs a correctly formed verb and article. The long study example has faulty clause structure, making it unclear who has the problem and who solves it. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use shorter sentences when explaining examples. Then add complex structures only when you can control their clauses and punctuation.
