Student answer (Band 6.0)
Undeniably, there is lot of competition in everyone's life in modern era as compare to passage time. Some people believe that competing with others either at work or schools and in day to day life is a good. While, some individual thought that we should try work together instead of doing race with each others. I would like to discuss both of these views along with my viewpoint in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin, there are several reasons why competing with others at anywhere is a good choice. The first and predominant reason is, doing competition with each other makes people more stronger and energetic because they have sole focus on their targets rather than anywhere else. lots of people doing competing at their work which gives them golden opportunity to get good position at their jobs. while achieve companies targets or make more work as compare to others. However, students doing competition at their schools which ultimately helps them to get good grades at exams because while, rat race they concentrate on their studies and they started to doing lots of hard work and dedication towards their goals. For example, there are many national and international games while, people playing with other opponent teams, they do lots of hardwork and practices before going on the stadium because they want to win that game for their country.
On the other hand, there are few other reasons are why people should not competing with others. The first and foremost reason is, competition makes people life more stressful which has detrimental impact on people health. during hectic lifestyle people forget their own ambitions , they try to copying other people lifestyle, which makes them mentally and physically ill. Moreover, due to advancement of technology people using lots of apps these days, they get influence by wrong people on social media which broadcast their fake life instead of reality. However, the people who following them they try to start competition with them make look good infront of their peers. people want to make their standards high with competing with others. As a results, individual change their habits which automatically effect their budgets as well gives them extra mentally stress.
In conclusion, working together with people always matter it build strong relation with people as well people live their life stress free. I strongly believe that competing with each other makes people more down in their own life instead of making their life good.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While the benefits of competition are supported by examples like sports, the discussion on the drawbacks is occasionally sidetracked by irrelevant points about social media and technology, which detract from the core argument. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments could be more focused and analytical to reach a higher band. The response covers all parts of the prompt, but the depth of exploration is limited by the repetitive nature of some arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the transition 'However, the people who following them' is awkward, and the use of 'while' as a conjunction is frequently misused (e.g., 'while achieve companies targets'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences is occasionally disrupted by grammatical errors. While there is an overall progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the repetitive structure of the sentences limit the effectiveness of the cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There is a reliance on basic phrasing, such as 'good choice', 'good position', and 'good grades'. Some word choices are unnatural or incorrect, such as 'doing race', 'competing with each other makes people more stronger', and 'broadcast their fake life'. There are also issues with word forms, such as 'people life' instead of 'people's lives'. To improve, you should focus on using more academic collocations and ensuring that word forms are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but errors are frequent and sometimes impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('people life', 'students doing competition'), incorrect verb forms ('they started to doing'), and missing articles or prepositions. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of grammatical slips prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like tense consistency and pluralization.
