Student answer (Band 5.5)
Without any doubt, society is divided into two groups as per the distict mindset of different people. This has become a debatable issue whether few people believe having competition is a good thing in places such as work, school or in daily life whereas other think society should work together instead of competing. This essay will not only shed light on both the perspectives but also my point of view will be elaborated in conclusion.
To commence with the first notion, there are myriad things to be shared its favour. Cooperation is a excellent thing for every individual because there are numerous things about that an alone person feel exhausted and need somebody's help whereas with the help of others the task become easy and exciting. Moreover, students joining their new school neither they have friends nor they know anybody, so it is really beneficial for them and they can study freely in that environment.
Moving toward the second debate of the point. Firstly, competition is present in every field in today's era. However, education, work or sports, these are much competative in order to achieve higher goals in individual career. Secondly, competative exams are more harder than previous times and to cope up with this situations, students take it very seriously. To instance, clearing neet exam is the most troublesome work and the competition their is beyond our imagination. Consequently, scholars study day and night to achieve their desired marks.
In conclusion, according to my perception, Although being competative is crucial in this new era yet being kind towards their colleagues, friends and everyone shows the really personality.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, fulfilling the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The arguments regarding cooperation are vague, and the section on competition relies heavily on a single example (the NEET exam) rather than exploring the broader implications of competition in work or daily life. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented, making the overall position feel slightly underdeveloped. To improve, ensure each body paragraph provides a clear, well-supported argument that directly relates to the prompt's themes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'To commence with the first notion' and 'Moving toward the second debate of the point' are somewhat unnatural transitions. Additionally, some sentences lack logical flow, such as the transition between the benefits of cooperation and the mention of students joining a new school. While the paragraphing is sufficient, the internal cohesion within paragraphs needs more variety and smoother linking words to achieve a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'distict', 'competative', 'their' instead of 'there') and word choice issues (e.g., 'myriad things to be shared its favour', 'really personality'). The range of vocabulary is somewhat repetitive, relying on basic descriptors. To improve, focus on using more precise academic collocations and ensure accurate spelling of key terms related to the topic, such as 'competitive' and 'distinct'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'few people believe' (should be 'some people'), 'other think' (should be 'others think'), and 'are more harder' (a double comparative error). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of basic sentence construction and comparative forms.
