Student answer (Band 6.0)
Todays fast peace world people are getting more and more to compete each other. Many people believe that riveling each other at work, at school, and in routine life is good habit while others argue that people should try to alline with each other. This essay will explain both perspectives in upcomming paragraph.
On the first hand, individuals who choose to compete each other that motivate them to become best at there work. In the work place like school, and daily life people who choose rival to each other can get good result like pramotion or good marks. People also will try to learn new skills and path in very short period of time. For example, Sports. In the sports there are total competition to prove them self like break old records because they have to prove they are batter then others. Without compition it os not possible.
On the other hand, Working together is batter to sustain and batter result .In workplace the employes who choose to work together get more productive and benificeal for there projects. Also teamwork creates a significant impact to develop something with batter efficiency and speed. Also teamwork develops batter communication and problem solving ability. Additionally working together also reduce stress which is good for all employees.
In my opinion, a balance between both can give the best optimal result. Competition is very good for business rivals and also in sports, but axcessive rivally can cause unethical behaviuor and stress which is not good for long term. However working in a team can create more trust to each other and also give batter environment to teach each other.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both competition and cooperation before providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument for competition relies on generic statements like 'get good result' or 'learn new skills' without specific, well-developed examples. The discussion on cooperation is similarly brief. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and concrete, real-world examples rather than just listing potential benefits. Your position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis needs improvement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the first hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Additionally' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate (e.g., 'On the first hand' should be 'On the one hand'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the transitions between sentences could be smoother to improve the flow of the argument. Paragraphing is used appropriately, which helps the reader follow your line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary range is adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'peace' instead of 'paced', 'riveling' for 'rivaling', 'alline' for 'align', 'pramotion' for 'promotion', and 'axcessive' for 'excessive'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader. You rely on simple adjectives like 'good' and 'batter' (better) repeatedly. To improve, you should focus on learning more precise collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of common academic vocabulary. The current range is sufficient to communicate your meaning, but it is limited.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include 'compete each other' (should be 'compete with each other'), 'there work' (should be 'their work'), and 'batter result' (should be 'better results'). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with possessive pronouns and verb forms, to ensure your writing is more polished.
