Student answer (Band 5.0)
few individuals perception that competition in jobs, at academic level and in day to day life is beneficial.on the other hand many people focus on help to others than competition.
firstly, competition makes people more creative and innovative because they try to do best at work place.if Due to high competition, set high bench mark and we needs to put extra effort to achieve these standards. positive competition also enhance the knowledge among students and productivity at work place because every one know they compete each other so they do best and avoid errors or inefficiency in their tasks.for example, competition between america and India on production in automobile products increase creativity and innovation
on the other hand we needs to cooperate with others because its increase our social relation with others.as a human, we lives in form group which called family,in which we have many roles and responsibilities so without cooperation its not possible to perform our responsibilities and duties in smooth ways.we see at global level, developed countries developing countries to overcome the financial crisis e.g America and Chine also give aids to Pakistan in COVID 2021.
according to my opinion, competition create effectiveness and efficiency in our work and task because we know its compare with others work and set the boundries for us and stantndard to make effectiveness.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which limits the depth of the discussion. While the ideas regarding competition (innovation) and cooperation (social cohesion) are relevant, they are not fully developed. The conclusion is brief and does not adequately summarize the main points. Because the response fails to meet the length requirement and lacks sufficient development of ideas, it falls into the lower band range.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is hindered by the lack of sufficient supporting detail. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'firstly', 'on the other hand', and 'for example', but they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly (e.g., 'as a human, we lives in form group'). The progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed, and the lack of a clear introduction and a well-developed conclusion affects the overall coherence of the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of awkward word choices and collocations, such as 'set high bench mark' instead of 'set high benchmarks' and 'perform our responsibilities and duties in smooth ways'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas with precision. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and frequent errors in word formation prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement ('we lives', 'we needs'), article usage ('the production', 'the financial crisis'), and sentence structure issues. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the punctuation is inconsistent. Many sentences are fragmented or contain run-on errors. These frequent errors occasionally impede the flow of reading and demonstrate a limited control over grammatical structures.
