Student answer (Band 5.5)
Competition vs Cooperation has become a subject of intense debate in recent times. While some people argue that competition at their daily life works area is being good opinion, others believe that they should try to more cooperate than others competing people. In my opinion, although competition has its valid merits, I firmly side with the view that cooperation is more beneficial.
This essay will examine both perspectives of this issue from social and economic perspectives before presenting my opinion.
To begin with, a primary argument supporting the positive perspectives is that social development. This is primarily because, when people work together, that time a work complete more earlier than doing individuals work. Another positive side is that succesfully done corporate or bussiness project. However, it helps to done work smoothly when employee work together ans they are sharing each other plan. For instance, a recent study conducter by Dr. Abid Hossain Badon, a renowned social researcher at Dhaka University, revealed that around 70% corporate or business guy and around 60% society people has been successfully done their work when they work together and cooperatively.
Conversly, critics highlighted the opposing view, contending that economical damage. The main reason for this is that it reduces individual brainstorming due to he or she always thinking how much fastly done their work than others. That's why individual cann't revise their work clearly. As a result, they lost their work and they terminated by their superior. A clear example of this is highlighted in a project led by Kabir Mahmud, a senior businessman at Nestle, which demonstrated that around 30% employee terminated of their over confidence and competition mind in their work place.
From my perspectives, after considering both sides, I personally align with the opinion that cooperation is better than competition. Because, when a group of people works together, they can identify their mistakes. This is evidenced by the fact that I worked as a research assistant in a group, that time a mistake was done by me but my team members identify that mistake and we were correction it together.
In conclusion, while there are valid arguments on both sides of the issue, I firmly believe that cooperation is better than competition. Although competition has its own benefits, I believe that cooperation at work, school and daily life offers greater advantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both competition and cooperation and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While the arguments are relevant, the supporting examples—such as the statistics attributed to Dr. Abid Hossain Badon—lack clarity and feel somewhat forced. The explanation of 'economical damage' is also underdeveloped, as the link between competition and termination is not logically sound. To reach a higher band, you should focus on providing more coherent and logical explanations for your points rather than relying on invented statistics.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with,' 'Conversly,' and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are issues with referencing and sentence-level flow. For example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph is abrupt. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, such as 'Another positive side is that succesfully done corporate or bussiness project,' which lacks a clear connection to the preceding thought.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'daily life works area,' 'more earlier,' and 'competition mind.' You also use repetitive phrasing, such as 'successfully done their work.' While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of control over more complex vocabulary and the presence of errors in basic word forms (e.g., 'conducter' instead of 'conducted') limit the score. Expanding your range of collocations and focusing on accurate word forms will improve your performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('around 60% society people has been'), incorrect verb tenses ('a mistake was done by me'), and awkward phrasing ('how much fastly done their work'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in sentence construction that make some parts of the text difficult to follow. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and ensuring consistent verb tense usage throughout your writing.
