Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued by some people that competition is good at work and school because it boost up your immunity. Meanwhile, others argue that cooperate to each other is good because they leads to success. However I believe that cooperate to each other have a positive feedback.

On the one hand, supporters of the idea competition is good believe that it increase my immunity level and also tell about how i can win . As if we compete to each other I have eager to win and also face the lose thus in such case immunity and will power increase. Take in example of Germany, School of Toutint in which students are compete to each other thus they have better skills as compared to other one . One more thing is that when competition thus also work improved. Thus, the supporters of this view support their findings and their analysis with valid arguments.

While on the other hand cooperate to each other are good the reason is that we perform better and team work leads to success. As we work in cooperation thus leads to success if anyone have no knowledge about the work when we encourage his thus they also perform and we all move towards success. For instance, Bank of Spain all of employ work in cooperation so they generate of almost 90% of revenue this year. It's all possible because of support.

However, in my opinion cooperate to each other is better because with this we can get more success and also encourage the person which have no idea about work. As with supporting one another we can achieve all those task which impossible to complete.

To sum up, even though competition are good, but I believe that cooperate to each other have positive feedback because in such way we gain more and more tough work in easy way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. For example, the argument regarding 'immunity' is unclear and lacks logical connection to the topic of competition. The examples provided, such as the 'School of Toutint' and the 'Bank of Spain', are vague and do not effectively support the claims made. While the position is consistent, the supporting arguments lack depth and analytical rigor, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive feature. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Take in example of' and 'One more thing is that' are used to link ideas, but they do not always create a smooth flow. There is also a lack of variety in transition signals. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, making the logical connection between sentences feel disjointed at times.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with frequent errors in word choice and collocation. For instance, the student repeatedly uses 'cooperate to each other' instead of 'cooperate with each other' or 'collaboration'. The term 'immunity' is used incorrectly in the context of competition. There is little evidence of less common lexical items or an attempt to use precise academic vocabulary. The range is sufficient to convey basic meaning, but the persistent errors in word formation and collocation are noticeable.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'competition are good', 'cooperate to each other are good') and sentence structure. Complex structures are attempted but are often faulty, such as 'As with supporting one another we can achieve all those task which impossible to complete.' Simple sentences are more frequent, and punctuation is sometimes misused. The errors are pervasive and affect the overall readability of the text.
