Student answer (Band 5.0)
In today's world competition is an increasingly prevent issues that impacts various aspects of our daily lives. It is presented for discussion that people has different perspective about competition, some believe that we should corporate with each other in daily life or in work life, and some people think it's right thing to be competitive with work fellows. In my opinion, this suggestion is not only timely but also holds significant potential benefits.
In my own views, the competition is a necessary thing some time, when you have to compete someone in some kind of play, or when you have a face to face competition. The good thing about being competitive is you can definitely win from that person or player who is less confident, but on the other hand this is not very easy task, for being tough in that kind of situation you should have to be feeling less or made yourself tough in taking decision.
If i discuss my second point of view about corporation in normal lifestyle, it's not bad thing to do. Your little effort to being helpful for someone can make your whole day happier. You should help that people when they needed, because helping someone is not cheap or bad habit it's a good thing to achieve. People are suffering from different kind of problems in daily life, For example at work, at school, at college, at factory, at employment you can simply play your good role of helper in their life and can be a hero for them.
In conclusion, in the contemporary era, competition has become a commonly witnessed phenomenon among people these days. In my perspective, from the close observation of this trend, I find myself surrounded by more competition.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt regarding competition and cooperation, and attempts to provide an opinion in the introduction and body paragraphs. However, the ideas are underdeveloped and lack clear examples. For instance, the discussion on cooperation mentions general statements like 'helping someone is not cheap or bad habit' without clearly illustrating how cooperation benefits society or the workplace. The conclusion repeats earlier points rather than effectively summarising the argument. Furthermore, the position is somewhat difficult to follow at times due to vague phrasing. This performance aligns with Band 5, where ideas are limited and under-developed, and the task is only partially addressed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some logical organisation with a traditional introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and unclear referencing. Phrases like 'If i discuss my second point of view about corporation in normal lifestyle' are overly conversational and fail to guide the reader smoothly. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal structure of the body paragraphs lacks coherence, jumping between loosely related ideas without clear cohesive devices. Referencing words such as 'that people' or 'this suggestion' are often ambiguous. These weaknesses place the response firmly in Band 5, where organisation lacks clear overall progression and cohesive devices are inadequate.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by major errors in word choice and spelling. For example, the student uses 'prevent' instead of 'prevalent', 'corporate' instead of 'cooperate', and 'work fellows' instead of 'colleagues' or 'coworkers'. Words are often used in incorrect forms or inappropriate contexts, such as calling cooperation 'not cheap' or stating that helping someone is a 'good thing to achieve'. The lexical range is limited and minimally adequate for conveying basic meaning, but frequent spelling and word-formation errors cause noticeable difficulty for the reader, matching the Band 5 descriptor.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay demonstrates a very limited range of structures, with frequent grammatical errors that often impede comprehension. Simple sentences are attempted, but complex sentence forms are frequently faulty. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('people has different perspective'), missing articles, and incorrect prepositions ('compete someone'). Run-on clauses and punctuation mistakes are also common, such as 'For example at work, at school, at college, at factory, at employment you can simply play your good role...'. Because errors are frequent and regularly cause difficulty for the reader, this performance corresponds to a Band 4.
