Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals consider that struggle at work, at school and in our daily life is a best need. But on the other hand individuals believe that we should try to assist more, rather than completing against each other.
Well, in my opinion competition is a best thing whether it is in school, work or in daily life anywhere else and it is responsibility of every institution of a country that they should provide medals for those students who win the competition. Recently, I went to Gujranwala and then i went to Quaid e Azam public school which is located in Gujranwala. They provided the gold medals for those students who win the competition and I saw more than thirty-three students got it. Because this school have many facilities such as it contains better play ground, discussion lecture or provide good books in the laiberary but also provide us a good teachers.
On the other hand, Individuals consider that we should only try to study weather we obtain more or less. I know that it is the responsibility of evey institution to provide better education for peoples But it depends upon the person whether it is less cooperate or more. Recently I saw a result of government high school a high ratio of the students had failed because they did not focus on his life.
Overall, In my opanion this is the main reason that focus an essential for peoples and that is the basic people rights focus on only those things which you can do it is the most important reason for that.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address both views regarding competition and cooperation, presenting a position that competition is beneficial. However, the development of ideas is limited and sometimes tangential. For example, the writer spends a significant portion of the body paragraph discussing a personal visit to a specific school in Gujranwala and listing its amenities rather than discussing broader societal arguments. The reasoning regarding cooperation on the other hand is somewhat unclear and difficult to follow. Because the ideas are underdeveloped and rely heavily on personal narrative rather than generalized discussion, this performance aligns closely with Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the overall progression of ideas is frequently disrupted. Transitional phrases like 'Well, in my opinion' and 'On the other hand' are used, but they do not connect the arguments smoothly. Referencing is sometimes confusing, such as in the final paragraph where phrases like 'this is the main reason that focus an essential' obscure the logical relationship between sentences. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks logical flow and clear thematic unity. These features reflect Band 5.0 characteristics.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling. For instance, the writer uses words like 'struggle' instead of 'competition', 'completing' instead of 'competing', 'laiberary' instead of 'library', and 'opanion' instead of 'opinion'. There are also awkward collocations, such as 'best need' and 'provide the gold medals'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey basic concepts, the frequency of errors and limited range restrict the score to a Band 4.5, which is rounded to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay displays a very limited range of sentence structures, relying primarily on simple sentences or faulty complex constructions. Frequent grammatical and punctuation errors occur throughout the text, such as agreement errors ('this school have many facilities'), tense inconsistencies ('Recently, I went... and then i went'), and incorrect prepositions or article usage. Many sentences are awkward and require the reader to guess the intended meaning, causing noticeable difficulty and strain. This demonstrates a control level typical of Band 4.0.
