Student answer (Band 5.0)
it is being argued that the competition at work ,school and in daily life rather than completing in cooperte more .this essay will discuss both perspective before explaining why i believe in more focus on cooperate sector.
on the one hand there are several reason why comprtition at work or school because people find more interesting in school while everyone want to be good result and there will be benefit to the student by doing hard work and impress the marks to win the competion .while at the office every sector were improve where there is icapacity or not at the office . it helps to maintain the quality of the company in top level for example if tenders goes to the one office and another company thought that where our improve is not develped
on the other hand other argue that we should more focus on coopersate sector .one main reason is that thr cooperate can helps them in funding better infrasture and find good employment for the other people where the cooperate can inquiry for job vacany fotr the staff that helps them to learn the new things . where they can help in public funding like if the road is broken and destroyed by the flood then peopke find difficilties on travelling abroad. so the cooperate helps the government to find the easiest way to make the road safely.
in conclusion although competition at work and school acan be beneficial because helps student and worker to improve their brain and more focusedon that sector ,while cooperate encourage the people to live a better life .in my opinon competion at cooperate has good improvement than schholand work because student might have caused trauma to score good marks than his friend as in office also.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to discuss both views regarding competition versus cooperation and provides a personal opinion, thus addressing all parts of the task. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times confusing due to unclear phrasing. For instance, the student states that school competition helps people 'impress the marks to win the competion', but the elaboration remains underdeveloped. The position is stated in the introduction and reinforced in the conclusion, but the arguments lack clarity and strong supporting examples. The discussion of corporate cooperation in the third paragraph touches on infrastructure and public funding, but the connection to the prompt's core theme is muddled. Based on the descriptors, this performance aligns with a Band 5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into four paragraphs, showing a basic attempt at a standard structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, overall progression is hindered by poor transitions, confusing phrasing, and a lack of cohesive devices. For example, sentences such as 'where there is icapacity or not at the office' and 'where the cooperate can inquiry for job vacany fotr the staff' disrupt the logical flow. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion is weak and repetitive. This corresponds to Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 according to standard marking practices.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and heavily impacted by numerous spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'cooperte' instead of cooperate, 'comprtition', 'icapacity', 'infrasture', and 'difficilties'. The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently reusing words like 'competition', 'cooperate', 'office', and 'school' without much variation. While the student attempts some less common terms, inaccuracies in collocation and word formation (e.g., 'cooperte sector' instead of corporate sector) cause noticeable difficulty for the reader and impede clear communication at times. This fits the Band 4.5 to 5.0 profile, earning a Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences attempt complexity but result in heavily flawed, run-on structures that lack accurate punctuation and subject-verb agreement. For example, the opening sentence 'it is being argued that the competition at work ,school and in daily life rather than completing in cooperte more .' contains severe structural breakdowns and grammatical errors. Errors are frequent throughout the text, including incorrect verb tenses, missing articles, and malformed clauses, which frequently distort the meaning and cause strain for the reader. This performance reflects the Band 4 descriptors.
