Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some persons think that rivary at work, at school and in day-to-day life is beneficial where other believe that persons should work together instead of competing with each other.
Persons who consider rivary at their workplaces, at schools and in their day-to-day life could be the reason they want to be things to go in their way, people who wants competition so they could achieve more in their life having some competitors in their daily life, workplace or even in schools where many event happens. seeing other people do more than them it might be the reason of their motivation to achieve more than their limit. So they could get more success seeing other people doing more than themselfs they can push limit and work even harder to win.
On the other hand there are some type of people who doesn't want rivary with anyone rather than having rivary they prefer to co-ordinate with persons nearby solving ongoing situations collabing with them helping each other with their problems and taking each others to every step together. the mindset this type of people carry is that the don't only want to win at any cost but want to learn things at every step to carry experiences. However, i think that rivary is necessary in every competition at any place not showing any agression but keeping in mind that i have to win. It will help to co-ordinate with competitor without making situation more intense like its heated rivary and moving into the situation giving our best.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both competition and cooperation, and your opinion is present: you argue that competition is necessary, provided it does not become aggressive. The explanation that seeing others achieve more can motivate people to work harder is relevant, as is the contrast with people who prefer to learn and solve problems together. However, the discussion remains general and some points are difficult to interpret, such as “they want to be things to go in their way.” The benefits of cooperation are described, but not clearly weighed against competition, and the final view is not fully explained. Develop each side with a specific example and state more precisely when competition helps or harms people.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph about competition, and a paragraph covering cooperation and your opinion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “However” help signal changes in direction. However, progression within the paragraphs is not always clear. The competition paragraph repeats the idea of seeing others succeed and being motivated, while the final paragraph moves from cooperation to your opinion and then to managing rivalry without clear links between these points. Some references, including “this type of people” and “the situation,” are vague. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use clearer links between supporting ideas, and make the conclusion to your argument explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “competitors,” “motivation,” “achieve,” “co-ordinate,” and “experiences.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both rivalry and cooperation. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts harder to understand: “rivary” is repeated, “collabing” is informal or inaccurate here, and “taking each others to every step” does not express the intended meaning clearly. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “work even harder to win” in this context. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for describing teamwork and competition; more precise vocabulary would help you express your ideas without relying on repeated words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “where,” “who,” and “However.” This gives you some variety, but complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors in sentence structure, agreement, and punctuation. For example, “people who wants competition” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “the don't only want to win” is missing the correct pronoun form. Several sentences run together, particularly the final one, where multiple ideas are joined without clear punctuation. Capitalisation is also inconsistent, as in “seeing” after a full stop and “i think.” Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas with accurate clauses and punctuation.
