Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that competition at school, at work and in daily routine is a good thing. Many people think that we should try to cooperate more, compare to competing against each other. In my opinion, competition at work, at school and daily routine is very important especially, school, society, however some time cooperate is also very important like, when you job any company.
In my opinion, there are two main reason why I agree competition is more important, rather than cooperation. Firstly, when students study in schools and the schools have many good students and its annonce when the top three students in every class have a good in schools than the childrens have more focus in their study. This is because young childrens more affect in their study and take a position.
However, in my opinion, cooprate is also very important sometimes like when you job in company, you must be need to cooperate other peoples in your duty time This is because when you cannot coperate other people, the company cannot need this type people so company must be fair you because company need cooperated persons. For example, my friend Ali job in Alpha company in high rank but he is not a cooperated person. when someone need help, he cannot help their so the alpha company fair it.
In conclosion, in my opinion, sometime competition important like, schools level, society and some time cooperation is very important espacially, when you job in company in high level.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a position: competition is more important in education, while cooperation matters in companies. The school example about students trying to reach the top three supports your view, and the story about Ali illustrates a possible consequence of not helping colleagues. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The benefits of cooperation are mostly described as a requirement for keeping a job, rather than explaining how working together helps people or organisations. Your conclusion repeats the main contrast but does not add a clear summary of why you favour competition overall. Develop each view with a clearer reason and explain how your examples demonstrate it.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate discussion of competition and cooperation, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. You also use signposts such as “Firstly,” “However,” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the school example moves from top students to children being affected without clearly explaining the link. Several ideas are joined in long, unclear sentences, and “in my opinion” is repeated, making the organisation feel mechanical. Some references, such as “their” in the sentence about Ali, are unclear. Use one main point per paragraph, connect each example explicitly to that point, and vary or reduce repeated linking phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a small range of topic-related vocabulary, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “students,” and “company,” which makes the general subject understandable. However, vocabulary is basic and repetitive, and several inaccurate word choices or forms make parts difficult to interpret. For example, “a good in schools,” “a cooperated person,” and “the company fair it” do not express the intended meanings clearly. Spelling errors such as “conclosion,” “coopr ate,” and “espacially” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing achievement and teamwork, and check spelling and collocations. For instance, describe students as “motivated to improve” and colleagues as “willing to support one another.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, including “This is because…” and “when you cannot…”. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts to combine several ideas often produce faulty sentences. Examples include “when you job in company,” “you must be need to cooperate,” and “the company cannot need this type people.” There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “two main reason” and the run-on sentence beginning “when someone need help.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms and punctuation.
