Student answer (Band 5.5)
Opinions differ as to weather people think that making compititive environment either in work stations or at school and also implementing it in our daily routine is benefical. On the otherhand some people are in the favour of cooperative environment. This essay will examin both perspective before arguing that helping with each other is a best way.
Those who favour making schools, workspaces and even daily life a racing environment point out that it will boost your mind and have to conquer everyting to be on top. They argue that everyone will be on there own way to get better and ultimately it will be benefical for the family and for country as well. Furthermore, no one will be depend on each other and they often cite students who are not preparing themself for the exams and waiting for other so the competitive environment opinion is seems right.
On the other hand, supporters of implementing cooperative environement belives that someone can may be has positive on others life. In other words giving reference can also good impact or may be make a life of somone. Forexample if you are working in a big company like google and referencing your friend. In my opinion, this view is more convvincing, because it focuses more on society growth not individual.
In conclusion, while there are valid arguments for competitive environment either in learning or workingspace, I belive that cooperative envrionment beacase it helps to grow the community and make a tight relationship between the people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the discussion and state a preference for cooperation, particularly in “helping with each other is a best way” and the conclusion. The examples about students preparing for exams and recommending a friend at a company are relevant, but they are brief and do not clearly explain how competition or cooperation produces the claimed outcomes. The competitive view is also presented mainly as a way to get “on top,” while the cooperative view focuses on one example of helping someone find work; broader effects on learning, productivity, or relationships would make the discussion more balanced. Your position is present, but its reasoning is not consistently developed. Explain each side with a clear cause-and-effect point and support your opinion with a more specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the overall direction, and the opinion is placed in the paragraph supporting cooperation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the move from competition helping people improve to students waiting for others is not fully explained, and the company-reference example is left without a clear outcome. Some linking phrases, including “Furthermore” and “In other words,” connect sentences mechanically rather than showing a precise relationship. Make each paragraph follow a clear sequence—claim, explanation, example, and link to the question—and use pronouns and connectors with clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competitive environment,” “cooperative environment,” “supporters,” and “society growth,” so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “racing environment,” “boost your mind,” “giving reference,” and “make a tight relationship.” There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “weather,” “compititive,” “benefical,” and “convvincing,” which reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Build a bank of topic-specific phrases and check spelling carefully. Prefer natural expressions such as “competitive atmosphere,” “improve performance,” “recommend a colleague,” and “strengthen relationships.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “students who are not preparing themselves for the exams” and a contrast structure beginning “while there are valid arguments.” However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “no one will be depend on each other” has an incorrect verb form and unclear agreement, while “supporters … believes that someone can may be has positive on others life” contains several problems with the verb phrase and sentence structure. Articles and sentence endings also need attention, as in “a best way” and the incomplete construction in the conclusion. Practise building accurate clauses before adding complexity, and proofread for subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and articles.
