Student answer (Band 5.5)

In modern world competition has taken significant place in our everyday life. Competition exhist everywhere , at schools, at banks, at hotels and even more at pharmaces too. Some pepole think that competition is good thing in general daily life , other have different idea about that. In my perspective competition gets life more easier and have better result in a long term period.

Studing proces needs so much patient and wilingnes to understand more, if students do not have healthy competitive environment maybe they do not deep dive in materials and just stay surface level. For example, on of the influencal figure Marcus Aurelius said that if the person wants to achive something it needs to study more then hid friends, one next step was the main idea to lead something or become someone. As a result we will get more individuals who trained their brain and they know many things which will be kind for all of us. If someone have good grades at school maybe she become a brillant doctor ,who will helps other people.

Situacion is different at corporate environment , where all individual already have some expariences and different responsibilities. Also they have menager, boss and so on. Menagament is little bit hard to find but it is possible to make competitive and cooperative model. Google is the most significant example of this, they are searching for new talantes and they work together in order to make progress for company and for people too. Unfortunately if company or working environment is unhealthy there is a huge risk of colapse. for example if individuals are agains each other in spite of their tasks it is worst scene.

I strongly believe that healthy competitve competition encourages peoples to learn more, explore their new skills or even mastered old one. Consequency we will get result more talanted and more productive people in our life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear personal view that healthy competition can improve learning and productivity, and you support this with examples from education and the workplace. However, the task asks you to discuss both competition and cooperation, and cooperation receives only brief treatment through the reference to Google and the warning about an unhealthy workplace. The school discussion is more developed, but the workplace example does not clearly explain how cooperation benefits employees or why it may be preferable to competition. Your position is present, though the final paragraph mainly repeats the benefits of competition rather than weighing the two views. Develop the case for cooperation and compare its benefits directly with competition to address all parts more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on education and work, and a concluding opinion. Examples generally follow the points they are intended to support, and phrases such as “For example” and “As a result” help signal relationships. However, progression is not consistently clear: the workplace paragraph moves from management to Google and then to the risk of collapse without fully connecting these points. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, including repeated uses of “for example” and “Also.” The conclusion restates the position but does not bring the two views together. Make each paragraph follow a clear point–explanation–example sequence, and use references and transitions that show how ideas relate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “competitive environment,” “responsibilities,” “management,” and “productive,” and the reader can usually understand your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make the writing less clear, such as “exhist,” “pharmaces,” “talantes,” and “colapse.” Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “gets life more easier,” “deep dive in materials,” and “competitive competition.” These issues are noticeable across the response and sometimes require the reader to infer your meaning. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing competition and cooperation, and check spelling and collocations carefully before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if students do not have…” and a relative clause in “a doctor, who will helps other people.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader pause. Examples include “competition gets life more easier,” “if someone have good grades,” and “they work together in order to make progress for company.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in the lowercase “for example” after a full stop. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, article use, and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly punctuated structure.
