Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people argued that competition at work and at school is necessary, whereas others believe that we should try to work as team more, rather than participating aganist each other. Although this concern is understandable, i agree with the first view because while work or study starts been competing people will do hard work and starts learning new things.
On the one hand, some people believe that participating in competition is a good thing to develop our personality and can also gain knowledge because while we are attending to any quiz or game we will get the experience if we loose and if we win it boost our confidence, as a result , people start doing hard work and start preparing for the rivalry. for instance, cricket players start working hard for the tournment and after match completed each person will learn what mistakes were happened and they will do pratice and be ready for the next match. Additionally, while is there any competition people will set goal and start preparing to achieve it. This means that candidates plan and prepare for the win the goal. For example, the jee students will set goal to crack the exam and do hard work and start learning the strategies, this helping individuals stay focus, discipline and accountable.
On the other side, others argue that individuals should work kike a team, rather than competing each other. This means while people working together the tasks can finish on time but here, there is a issue that each person have different miset cause of miscommunication the relationship may break and cant work as a team, for eample,In the company, manager start cpmpeting each person, they will work for the goal to achieve it.
In conclusion, while there is a compeition between in the society people stay focus and start planing to achieve it , other believe that work like a team s

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a position in the introduction, saying you agree with competition, and give relevant reasons such as building confidence, learning from mistakes, and setting goals. The cricket and JEE examples help illustrate these points. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the cooperation side is only briefly addressed. The point that teamwork can help tasks finish on time is not developed, while the following example about a manager making employees compete does not clearly support cooperation. The conclusion is also incomplete and does not clearly restate your view. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits of cooperation with a relevant example and finish with a complete, consistent conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other side,” and an attempted conclusion, so the reader can identify the broad structure. Within the first body paragraph, however, several points and examples are joined into a long sequence, making the progression difficult to follow. Linking phrases such as “This means” and “Additionally” are repeated or do not always clarify how the next idea follows. The second body paragraph shifts from the benefit of teamwork to miscommunication and then to competition in a company, without a clear connection. The final sentence is cut off. Organise each paragraph around one main view, explain its supporting example, and ensure the conclusion is complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “competition,” “confidence,” “goal,” “strategies,” and “miscommunication.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both personal development and workplace relationships. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response harder to understand, such as “aganist,” “loose” for “lose,” “tournment,” and “miset.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “work as team” and “prepare for the win the goal.” Aim to learn topic-specific collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for cooperation, shared responsibility, and workplace performance would help you explain the second view more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrast in the opening (“Although this concern is understandable…”) and cause-and-effect structures such as “because…,” “as a result,” and “This means…”. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “people will do hard work and starts learning” shifts verb form, while “while people working together” lacks a finite verb. The conclusion also ends with an incomplete clause. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense and agreement in each clause before adding further ideas.
