Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary world, Competition with each others is a common debate. few people believe that competition at work, at academic and in everyday life is a bennificail thing. On the other hand, Some suppose that we should help each others reather than competiting. In this essay i will discuss both statements and give my own view.
Firstly, Some individuals think that competition is a good way for acciving success. When we compete with each others in academic institutions we gain more knowledge. For example, when two students compete with each other for obtaining higher marks in exams. As a result, they will get a scholorship from the authorities. This way of competition opening new paths for their higher education.
Secondly, A few persons consider that helping each others is a best way to creat a healthy society. When we help other persons we grow equally. For instance, when a freasher join a work he didn't have proper experience about the work. If we help that person he will do the best. As a result, we create a positive society.
In my opinion, we should always choose a balance approch. Competition is a better way to achive fruit-full result. But this should be only for educational purpose. We sould cooperate with other persons who need over help. Because when we help each other over society grow healtheir.
In conclusion, competing with each other is a better thing especially when we compete in schools. We should always keep an eye on others people who need over help. Because in this world we depand on each others.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives and state a personal position: competition can be useful in education, while cooperation should support people who need help. The examples of students seeking higher marks and a new employee needing guidance are relevant to the topic. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The benefits of competition are mainly linked to scholarships, and the cooperation paragraph asserts that people “grow equally” without explaining how this works or giving a specific outcome. Your position also shifts: you recommend balance, but the conclusion calls competition “a better thing” without clearly restating the role of cooperation. Explain the advantages and possible limits of each view, then maintain one clear, balanced position throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated “For example” and “As a result” patterns, and some links between claims and outcomes are not fully explained. References such as “this way” and “that person” are understandable but could be more precise. The opinion and conclusion also repeat similar points rather than developing the argument further. Use a wider range of natural links, make cause-and-effect relationships explicit, and ensure the conclusion consistently reflects the position established in the opinion paragraph.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “academic institutions,” “scholarship,” and “positive society.” There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “opening new paths” and “healthy society.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision: “bennificail,” “acciving,” “freasher,” and “fruit-full” are difficult or unnatural forms. Phrases such as “competition with each others” and “a balance approch” also show weak control of natural word combinations. Build a reliable set of topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; more precise choices would make your ideas clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If we help that person he will do the best” and a reason clause beginning “Because when we help each other.” These attempts show some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors occur often enough to make parts of the argument harder to follow. For example, “when a freasher join a work he didn't have” shifts tense and has agreement problems; “Competition is a better way … But this should be only for educational purpose” also contains article and number errors. Several sentences beginning with “Because” are incomplete or awkwardly attached to the preceding idea. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, tense consistency, and complete sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
