Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, a number of individuals believ that competiton at office, educational institute and regulat life is a beneficial thing, while others disagree and believe that everyone should try to cooperate more with each-other. I agree with the latter viewpoint because cooperation making good relationship.
To begin with, increasing efficiency is the main reason why people think that competiton is a good things. We are human being and have a tendency to relax, if anyone do not asign any tasks. When we see people around us do better, we feel jelous and try to compete with them. At that time, we start thinking how to do our task faster. By giving proper efforts, we finally able to reach our goal. For instance, if any school annouce to give a reward who achieve maximum marks at any particular subjects, and then all of the student start to give their highest efforts which will make them more proactive. However, I disagree with the argument above because anyone can be rewarded by their excellency, for example Einstein.
On the other hand, people argue that cooperation strenthen the teamworking. When all the employe at a paricular companies work together at their difficult task, they start considering themselves as a friend. Like, recent research at Walton Bangladesh concluded that those groups of employe cooperate each other shows a good relationship with each other because they not only supportive at their office but also their personal lives too, which is the indication of their good relationships.
In conclution, it can be stated that although competiton increases efficiency, I strongly believe that cooperation strenghthen people's bonding.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both sides and state a clear preference for cooperation in the introduction and conclusion. The efficiency argument is relevant, and the school-reward example helps illustrate how competition can motivate students. However, the response only partially develops the discussion: the point about being rewarded for “excellency, for example Einstein” is unclear and does not explain how it supports your disagreement. The cooperation paragraph gives a workplace example, but its claims about friendship and personal support need clearer explanation. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits and drawbacks of each approach more fully, and make sure each example directly supports the point it follows.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the shift between ideas. However, connections within paragraphs are sometimes unclear or mechanical. For example, “However, I disagree with the argument above” introduces a counterpoint without explaining its relationship to the school example, and “Like, recent research…” is an abrupt way to introduce evidence. Some references, including “those groups,” are not fully clear. Use linking phrases to show cause, contrast, or consequence, and make the relationship between each example and its claim explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “efficiency,” “compete,” “cooperate,” and “proactive,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors weaken precision: “competiton,” “strenthen,” “teamworking,” and “good things” are examples. Phrases such as “regular life” and “at their difficult task” are also unnatural or imprecise. These issues sometimes make the reader pause, even when the intended meaning can be inferred. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; aim to express ideas with precise phrases rather than repeating broad terms such as “good” and “people.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional and relative structures, as in “When we see people around us do better…” and “who achieve maximum marks.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. Examples include “cooperation making good relationship,” “if anyone do not asign any tasks,” and “we finally able to reach our goal,” where verb forms or sentence structure are incomplete or inaccurate. There are also problems with agreement and articles, such as “all of the student” and “a particular companies.” Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a complete main clause before adding subordinate details.
