Student answer (Band 5.0)
Undoubtedly, society is split into two groups as per the distinct mindsets of different individuals. Therefore, this has become a debatable issue whether many people think that competition at work, at school and is daily life is a good thing or Others believe that we should try to corporate more. This essay intends to articulate both persuasions in the impending fragments but my inclination is toward former/ latter.
To commence with the first notion, there are myriad things to be shared in its favour. The first and foremost reason is It motivates people to work harder and achieve goals. This is because, students often higher than marks and achieve goals and also in daily life is a good thing. A prime example of this, many people believe that competition at work is good thing. . Another striking reason in this regard is that improve their performance to get promotions. To example, many people improve their performance such as competition like arts, sports and so on. Categorically discussing it cannot be neglected that there are the main reasons behind this.
Analysis the second argument of this debate and discussing it further. One of the main underlying reasons stems from the fact that there are against each other jealously. A good example to explain this is many people believe that we should cooperate more but most of the people jealously like achieve goals, better performance, good opportunity . Moving further it is pertinent to mention that creates a friendly environment and reduce unnecessary . To explain it, many people do not environment friendly . Therefore, clearly stated why many are in favour of this.
In conclusion, regarding the arguments mentioned above, I would like to say that i believe that competition at work at school, is a good thing because employee to get improve their performance and also achieve their goals. However, it will depend upon the mindsets of people which view they are in favour of.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You attempt to discuss both competition and cooperation, and your conclusion gives a preference for competition, so the response addresses the task in outline. However, the position is unclear in the introduction: “my inclination is toward former/ latter” does not identify which view you support. The supporting points are also mostly asserted rather than explained. For example, you mention that competition motivates people and can help them gain promotions, but the examples that follow are vague or incomplete. The cooperation paragraph refers to jealousy and a friendly environment, yet does not clearly explain how cooperation benefits people. Develop each view with a clear reason and a specific, relevant example, and state your opinion consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion, which gives it a basic overall structure. You also use signposting such as “To commence with” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated, incomplete, or not clearly connected. For instance, “A prime example of this” is followed by a general statement rather than an example, and “Analysis the second argument” does not form a clear transition. Some linking phrases, including “Categorically discussing,” do not clarify the relationship between ideas. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, explain it, and then give a concrete example; use simpler, accurate transitions and clear references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “debatable issue,” “myriad,” “underlying reasons,” and “friendly environment,” and the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited by repeated general wording and several inaccurate or unnatural choices that make parts difficult to understand. “Corporate more” appears to be intended as “cooperate more,” while “students often higher than marks” does not communicate a clear idea. Phrases such as “impending fragments” and “Categorically discussing” are also unsuitable in this context. Focus on accurate, natural collocations rather than inserting formal-sounding expressions. Build a small set of topic-specific phrases for competition, cooperation, achievement, and workplace relationships, and check that each phrase expresses your intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences beginning “This is because” and “However,” but control is inconsistent. Several sentences are incomplete or lack a clear grammatical structure, such as “Another striking reason in this regard is that improve their performance” and “Moving further it is pertinent to mention that creates a friendly environment.” There are also errors in agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, as in “it cannot be neglected that there are the main reasons” and the repeated punctuation in “good thing. .” These problems sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise writing complete subject–verb sentences, then combine them with subordinate clauses only when the relationship is clear. Proofread for sentence boundaries, capitalization, and agreement.
