Student answer (Band 5.0)
from my personal observation and experience , i think both view play a huge role in our daily and i will discuss both point of view and discuss my example as well .
initially who believe that competition is there is strong reason when students have competition in their so they can enjoy their task and they feel more confident then in this way
when student compete with other's they will know about their will power as well in past student did not have facilities that they compete with other students but know student have lot of fascinating facilities that they can use and achieve their goals .
on the other hand, those people who believe that is essential i think they believe that if student or cooperative so they feel their institute more proud . if student make group and they discuss their point of views so they get more better results .
but i feel its not good because when student play their role individually so they get lot of views and then they select on they like
furthermore, every student improve their mind skills and also they can do brain exercise daily .
when student do individually so they can enjoy their task fully like an animal spirit .
to sum up if students have competition so they make their country proud because you feel more energetic about your task and do not want to loss this battle in their life . moreover student want to do more good in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both sides by saying competition can build confidence and motivation, while cooperation lets students share viewpoints and achieve better results. Your final preference for competition is also visible. However, the discussion remains only partially developed: claims such as students becoming more confident or making their country proud are not explained with a specific example or clear reasoning. The cooperation side is brief, and the statement that individual work is better is not reconciled with the earlier benefits you give for group discussion. The response therefore engages with the topic, but does not fully develop both views or establish a consistently supported position. Explain each benefit and limitation, then support your opinion with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you introduce the topic, use “on the other hand” to signal a contrasting view, and end with “to sum up.” These markers help readers recognise the broad stages of your discussion. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow. Several ideas are repeated or placed beside one another without showing their relationship, such as group discussion producing better results followed by the claim that individual work is better. References such as “they” and “this way” are not always clear, and the opening sentence promises an example that is not clearly provided. Use separate, focused paragraphs for each view and connect each claim to its explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “competition,” “cooperative,” “confident,” “point of views,” and “achieve their goals,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. The range is nevertheless limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the intended meaning unclear. For example, “enjoy their task” and “like an animal spirit” do not express the intended benefits precisely, while “do not want to loss this battle” uses an unsuitable form and metaphor. Repetition of “student,” “task,” and “good” also limits variety. Build a small set of accurate phrases for motivation, collaboration, and personal development, and check collocations and word forms before using less familiar expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “when” and “because,” and you use some simple sentences to state your opinion. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in phrases such as “both view play” and “when student compete”; articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “if student or cooperative.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, including the lower-case opening and several long sentences joined without clear boundaries. These errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build longer sentences from a clear subject and verb, using full stops to separate distinct ideas.
