Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is disagreement among people that whether in working environment such as school, office or in daily life, there should be competition or cooperation. I believe that cooperation should give more preference than competition because it give motivation to weak workers to give their best.
On the one hand, competitive environment either in work, at school or in daily life, it forces a person to cross your working limit. This is good for those places where people are lazy and don't like to work hard and competition will force them to stand up and do something like others. But, this environment can bring some negative effects. Firstly, it greatly effect on a mind of a person because in race of work and to defect his competitors, a person doesn't take care of his own health and in result, he may suffer in high body disorder or mental stress. Secondly, those people who can't do hard work or lazy then they go for the ways to harm their competitors either physically or mentally which will negatively effect on the coordination and relationship among the workers. Instead of increasing a work, it may bring it to down.
On the other hand, cooperation can apply on any type of environment like if it will be a school or office or other working site. Major reason is, cooperative surrounding can increase the morale of weak workers. Because whenever, he trape in some problem then he can take help of their colleagues. In this way, no only good worker but also lazy or weak worker can do their best which will be beneficial of any place. Furthermore, when their is a communication between the workers then it automatically increase their bonding and make their coordination more stronger. This type of cooperative environment can handle of sort of problems and give encouragement to any weak individuals. In my opinion, cooperation can lead to greater benefits than competitive evironment because it came with some serious problems.
In conclusion, on working places, there are two type of environment and some people comfortable with competive and others go with cooperative. But competive working place instead of increasing their working productivity may decreased it because of negetive effects like stress, physical problem and weak worker felt alone in it. while cooperative environment take every person along with them and can improve the communication and strengthen their relationships with each others.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both sides of the question and state a clear preference for cooperation in the introduction and conclusion. The discussion of competition includes relevant consequences—pressure, health problems and damage to workplace relationships—while the cooperation paragraph explains how colleagues can support less capable workers and improve coordination. These points meet the task well, but some are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the claim that competition makes people lazy workers “stand up” could use a specific example, and the risks of competition receive more development than its potential benefits. To strengthen the response further, balance the two views more evenly and explain how cooperation can improve outcomes beyond helping weaker workers. Your position is clear, though the reasoning is not consistently extended in depth.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion that restates your preference. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, some links are mechanical or unclear. The sequence “Firstly” and “Secondly” is useful, but the sentence beginning “Because whenever…” is a fragment, and “In this way” does not clearly identify which workers or benefits it refers to. The conclusion also repeats several points from the body rather than synthesising them. Use clearer references and connect each example explicitly to the main claim; this would make the organisation more flexible and the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “competitive environment,” “morale,” “coordination,” “mental stress,” and “relationships.” There are also attempts at less common expressions, but inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “defect his competitors” for defeating them, “trape in some problem,” and “bring it to down.” Several phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “increase a work” and “cooperative surrounding.” These issues keep the vocabulary from being consistently clear and natural, despite the relevant range. Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships for this topic and checking spelling and word forms, rather than relying on direct translations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “when,” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited by recurring errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and verb forms. For example, “I believe that cooperation should give more preference” has an awkward structure, while “it greatly effect on a mind” and “it automatically increase” show problems with verb forms and agreement. “Because whenever, he trape in some problem…” is an incomplete sentence, and “there is two type” has agreement and plural errors. These patterns sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate complex sentences, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and complete punctuation.
