Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both competition and cooperation, and you give relevant points: competition may encourage people to focus and perform well, while cooperation can build workplace relationships, share workloads and help less-skilled colleagues learn. However, the discussion remains general and several ideas are not explained with clear examples or consequences. The task also asks for your own opinion, but the conclusion says that either approach may suit a person without clearly stating which view you support or how you would balance them. The opening is difficult to follow and does not establish a clear direction. To strengthen the response, explain each main point with a specific example and state your position directly in the introduction and conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, and “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the main sections. The two central paragraphs also separate the discussion of competition from cooperation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the opening sentence introduces several ideas at once, and the conclusion becomes difficult to follow, especially in “how i / he is suitable in working.” Connections between claims are often repetitive or imprecise, so the reader has to work out how one point leads to the next. Use a clearer topic sentence for each paragraph, develop one idea at a time, and use pronouns and linking phrases with clear references. Finish with a complete, direct summary of your view.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “competition,” “cooperatively,” “organisation,” “focused,” and “work load.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main contrast. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repeated, such as “work in competiting way,” “produce a good results,” and “Cooperation released the work load.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “substancial,” “delibrately,” and “benificial,” also reduce precision. Aim to learn common topic phrases as complete units, such as “compete with colleagues” and “share the workload,” and check spelling and word forms during revision. More precise vocabulary would make your points easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason clause in “as everyone wants to produce their potential to be best” and a contrast between different types of workers. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “competition is been created,” “doing any work … have,” and “there a different type of workers,” which show problems with verb forms, agreement and sentence construction. Articles and punctuation are also inconsistent, and the final lines do not form a complete sentence. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time. Proofread each sentence for a clear subject, correct verb form and complete ending.
