Student answer (Band 5.0)
A small amount of people believe that battle at work, at education and in everyday routine life is a better thing. Other argue that we should try to work together more, instead of competing aginst each other. In this essay I will discuss both ideas and I give my personal view.
To begin, most of individual believe that competetion in every field is very important because they provide lots of benefits in our daily routine. The first one is if they people try to undersatand this statement because if a student cannot compete with another students then the result is negative. For example, last year BBC news provide a very good information that was in Australia wokers can take interest in every field after they take good benefits like inflation almost end in Australia. Lastly, some person think that if every government organized some competetion in schools and offices after some time people take interest in everyfield.
Secondly, on the other hand other people argue that this is good way people can work together and they do not against each other. Because they believe that if people work as a team they provide better result than individuals. For instance, in every country a leader can take a lots of votes if the party do not work together then the result is negative like they losed their government. Lastly, people should agree if these types of stratigies apply in everyfield like schools and work offices then the result so unexpected.
In my opinion, competition in every feild is very important in modern days because people take a lot of interest in internet not on competition at work and schools.
To sum up, this essay provide both types of people argued and they will explain their personal ideas I think if we apply these types thing on our daily life then we wre not faced different types of difficulties.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both sides of the question and state a preference for competition, so the response is relevant to the task. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the claim that competition benefits students is not clearly explained, and the BBC/Australia example about workers, inflation and interest in different fields is difficult to connect to the point. The cooperation paragraph gives a team-work argument, but the political example about a party losing government does not clearly show how cooperation helps in school or work. Your opinion is also unclear because you say competition is important, then refer to people taking interest in the internet rather than competition. Explain each view with a direct reason and a relevant example, and make your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, an opinion paragraph and a conclusion. This gives it some recognisable organisation, and signposts such as “To begin,” “Secondly” and “To sum up” help identify stages of the essay. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from students to a BBC report, inflation and government competitions without showing how the ideas connect. “Secondly, on the other hand” is also an awkward combination of transitions, while repeated uses of “Lastly” do not establish clear relationships between points. Some references, such as “this statement” and “these types of strategies,” are vague. Use fewer, more precise linking expressions and build each paragraph around one connected argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “compete,” “work together,” “team” and “benefits,” and the reader can generally identify the subject of the essay. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making ideas hard to understand. For example, “battle” is not a natural substitute for competition in this context, and “everyday routine life” is repetitive. Phrases such as “provide a very good information” and “the result so unexpected” are also not expressed naturally. Spelling errors, including “competetion,” “aginst” and “stratigies,” further reduce accuracy. Build a bank of topic-specific collocations and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is sometimes recoverable. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction frequently make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “most of individual believe” has problems with number and agreement, while “if they people try to undersatand this statement because…” does not form a clear grammatical sentence. In “a leader can take a lots of votes,” the article and plural construction are inaccurate; “they losed their government” also uses an incorrect past form. Practise building clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with accurate verb forms and punctuation.
