Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is a growing debate regarding whether competition at work, at school and in everyday life is good thing or we should try to cooperate more, rather than competing against each other. In my point of view, I partially agree with both viewpoints.
Proponents of the first view claim that without competition we never set our goals and try to compete them. In the present time everyone work hard to achieve what they want, and we see that we have many of us already on that point so we try hard to achieve our destination. we set the boundaries or limits in any sector either it at work, at school or in everyday life, because without knowing what actually the score we need to reache the point. for exapmle we see that in offices the competition is very tuff to achieve the higher desigination every employee work hard not only for the designation purpose aslo for the salary increments, bounces, and get more relaxion then other employes, similary in schools, every student compete with other to get higher scores, and secure their future for better studies. students must have someone in their mind who get higher marks and move one step front the other student who is on the scenond number must study hard they set their goal to acheive good marks next time to compete them.
Conversly. those who advocate that competing againts each other is not agood thing, we must try to helps and coopertae other. I am never againts with this view point beacuse its very aslo very important that we must helps other if some need our help rahter its on school level or work level. for example, one student whic is average in studies its does mean no one helps in study, we sholud help where they confuse, what kind of problems they have in their studies and we should try to solve them in making easier notes for her that is understanable.
While both views have merit, and i personally recommended both view point and ithink its depend on the current satution.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both competition and cooperation, and your examples from offices and schools are relevant. The first view is supported by the idea that competition can motivate people to work towards goals, while the second is illustrated through helping a student who struggles. However, the response addresses the task only partially because your position is not consistently clear: “I partially agree with both viewpoints” and “I personally recommended both view point” do not explain when or why you favour each approach. Several ideas, such as competition for salary increases and better study opportunities, are listed but not fully explained. State a precise opinion and develop each side with a clear reason and a specific consequence. (The response meets the length requirement; 12 words copied from the prompt were excluded.)
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding sentence, so the reader can recognise its basic organisation. You also use signposts such as “Proponents of the first view” and “Conversely” to indicate a change in perspective. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from goals to boundaries, office rewards, and student marks without clearly connecting these points. Some linking is repetitive or awkward, and the final sentence does not bring the discussion together. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain it and give one focused example. Use clearer references and transitions to show how each sentence relates to the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “achieve,” “boundaries,” and “increments.” This gives you enough topic-related language to communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to read, for example “compete them,” “higher desigination,” “more relaxion,” and “helps and coopertae.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “on that point” and “on the scenond number.” Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships and checking spelling and word forms. Prefer precise phrases such as “achieve their goals,” “promotion,” and “cooperate with others” over direct or uncertain translations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “that,” and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “everyone work hard” and “every student compete”; articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “is good thing” and “one student which is average in studies its does mean.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, including the lower-case “we” after a full stop and “Conversly.” These recurring errors sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build longer sentences from correctly formed clauses, checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
