Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, skill are very crucial for people daily life. Certain humans believe that participating at work, at institutions and in their regular days is a better opportunity. Whereas, other argue that all have to cooperate more rather than conflicting with each. In this essay, I will discuss both the viewpoints in the upcoming paragraphs with some examples.
To commence with, there are numerous reasons why people support to do competitions in there daily life. The main reason is that, if the student can regularly participate in the programmes then it would learn there levels and also compare themself with others, it will also help the student to understand things. For example, if scholar regular track the competitions then he will build up there confidence for doing things in the future. Moreover, with the regular engage in the competitions it will also learnt about discipline and patients which is a part of social skills.
On the other hand, some individuals believe that rather then competition with everyone, they have to live friendly with people. This is because, if they will coperate with each other with this they would learn the doughts with discussing there negatives as well as positive points. For example, after the participating they gather in the team and do discussion about each other negative points, so they also improve in the futute. Furthermore, if the businessman will sell there products in less price then other shop, it will be loss for owner and also distroyes another business.
Overall, it can be concluded that, it has both positive as well as negative points. If people can work on both then would be beneficial for the humans life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the discussion: the competition paragraph links contests with learning, confidence and discipline, while the cooperation paragraph explains how discussion can help people improve. However, the response only partially develops the task. The examples focus mainly on students, and the point about a business lowering prices is not clearly connected to cooperation; it introduces a separate issue about commercial competition. Your own opinion is also not explicit: the conclusion says both approaches have positive and negative points, but does not state which you consider more beneficial or how they should be balanced. Make your position clear in the introduction and conclusion, and develop each main idea with a directly relevant explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To commence with,” “On the other hand,” and “Overall” help readers identify the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the shift from students cooperating to a businessman selling products at a lower price does not follow the preceding point smoothly. Some linking phrases are also used mechanically, and references such as “they” and “this” do not always make the intended meaning clear. Organise each body paragraph around one central claim, then explain and illustrate it in sequence. Use fewer, more precise transitions and make pronoun references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “confidence,” “discipline,” and “social skills.” This gives the response enough topic-related language to communicate its general ideas. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts awkward or difficult to interpret. Examples include “participating at work,” “support to do competitions,” “regular engage,” and “doughts”; “patients” also appears where a different word is intended. Build a bank of natural topic collocations, such as “take part in competitions,” “work collaboratively,” and “develop self-confidence.” Check spelling and choose words for their exact meaning before using them.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You try to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if the student can regularly participate … then it would learn” and clauses introduced by “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, pronouns, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand the meaning. For instance, “skill are” has incorrect agreement, while “if they will cooperate … they would learn” mixes conditional forms. “The student … it” also uses an unclear pronoun reference. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build conditionals consistently: “If students participate regularly, they can learn from one another.” Proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement and clear pronouns.
