Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days, many of us take a work as a competition because a person who is less better then other doesnot get any change in the job or in other oppurtunites.
In my opinion, I belive that competition is not only one solution to find a perfect one. Some work can be done by cooperating by each other. Many parents see childrens are in competition in study and they always talk about to do better from everyone in school. It can really effect their mind because in children eye every one is same and they don't like to go aginst their own friends.
I largely agree that we should always support each other and if a person is having truble in something we should just help them .And i think that parents should teach their children about to help each other and explain the thing that their friend doesnot know.As a result it will make them more sweet and polite towards their friends. If a person started to think every think is competition he/she can become more arogent and might think that there are the only best one.
However, It has a benifits also cause if a person mind is always on competition they might get a better score . Some belive that thinking like you are in a competition can motive you to do hard work . In our daily life both asseps are importent. If younger go to the job interveiw they should be pepear for a competition to get a job.In city area like highest population has more competition.
In conclusion, I largely agree that competition become common thing now a days because every on wants a perfect one to do the work. Futhermore some place has competition by it self and some worke can be done by cooperating.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and state a preference for cooperation, especially in the discussion of parents encouraging children to help classmates. You also acknowledge that competition can motivate people to work hard and can matter when applying for jobs. However, the position is not fully consistent: the conclusion says competition is common, but does not clearly restate whether you believe cooperation is better. Several points remain general, such as the claim that cooperation makes children “more sweet and polite,” without a specific example or explanation. Develop each view with a clear reason and a relevant example, then make your own judgement explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, separate discussion of cooperation and competition, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify the main sections. Basic links such as “However,” “As a result,” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the paragraph about cooperation moves from helping someone to children’s behaviour and then to arrogance, without clearly connecting each point. Some linking is repetitive or imprecise, and the conclusion introduces the idea that competition is common rather than neatly summarising your position. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain it, and use clearer references and transitions between supporting points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competition,” “cooperating,” “support each other,” and “motivate you to do hard work.” These phrases allow the reader to understand the general argument. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the writing less clear, for example “less better,” “any change in the job,” “competition become common thing,” and “highest population has more competition.” Frequent misspellings such as “oppurtunites,” “benifits,” and “interveiw” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of topic-specific expressions and check spelling and natural word combinations; choose precise phrases such as “job opportunities” or “a highly competitive job market.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if a person is having trouble… we should just help them” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” This shows an effort to connect ideas grammatically. However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Many parents see childrens are in competition” has an unclear construction, while “competition become common thing” lacks correct agreement and an article. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a subordinate clause, and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries before submitting.
