Some people think competition is a benifical thing at work, at school and in daily life. Other, However, argue that and think we should cooerate instead of compteting each other. Competition is very useful for the sake of getting rewards. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both competition and cooperation and give a personal view, especially in the opening and conclusion. Relevant points include competition motivating people to improve and cooperation supporting mentoring and leadership. However, the position is not fully clear: “both views are logically balance” is followed by a preference for cooperation, but the conclusion again presents both as equally good without resolving that preference. The examples are brief and sometimes difficult to follow, so the ideas remain limited and under-developed. The response also contains 237 words, below the 250-word minimum; the eight words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop each view with a clearer explanation and a specific example, then state your final position consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph on competition, one on cooperation, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the two sides. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “As, it is also effectively push your boundries” does not connect smoothly to the preceding point, while the long sentence beginning “At office you might saw your colleage work” combines several ideas without clear boundaries. The conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Use clearer topic sentences, divide complex ideas into shorter sentences, and make links between claims and examples explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “rewards,” “motivate,” “mentoring,” “leadership skills,” and “personal development.” These choices show an effort to discuss both individual and social effects. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices make parts of the response difficult to read, such as “benifical,” “boundries,” “achivement,” and “cometitions.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “competing each other” and “both views are logically balance.” Build a more accurate set of topic-related expressions and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise collocations such as “compete with one another” and “cooperate for mutual benefit.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including explanations with “when” and “as,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Examples include “Other, However, argue that and think,” “it is also effectively push,” and “We must counts both views,” where sentence construction, verb forms, or agreement are incorrect. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, as in “At office” and the comma after “As.” These errors recur and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammar is secure.
