Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays some people think that competition in daily life in workspaces, schools and daily life is more beneficial, whilw other thinks that we should cooperate rather than competing against each other this may have bad effect of people so to cooprate more can benifit them.
On one and same people argue that comptition encourge people to work more harder. For example it we talk about calss room studentscompete with each other to get better marks and that incourages them to work more harder to improves there marks. Same with the thw workspace the employees work harder to get permottion or bonus. In theres cases people work unfair just to get success theses things create negativve or bad effects.
Cooperateion has many advantages in both the sutations. When people work togather this may have help them in terms of great ideas came into being but most of hard work became worthless. Same with students who do combine studies during exams to understand topic more greatly. Same with the offices then create good enviornment and team work may help to achieve the task in short time.
In my opinion, cooperateion is more important than the competition because success can't come on the bases of people happiness. People should start supporting each other they should encourage each other. The can reduce the workload and improves our skills by working with other and haveing different exprences. Also helps are craft to improves, and workspaces should also start judgeing this on marite so people start haveing encouragement and also bonus should be the part of there work program so employee stays happy and energetic.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both competition and cooperation and state a clear preference for cooperation in the final paragraph. The examples of students aiming for better marks, employees seeking promotion, and students studying together are relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the claim that competition can lead people to act unfairly is not explained with a specific example, and the point that cooperation can make hard work “worthless” is unclear and sits uneasily beside the benefits you describe. Your opinion also introduces ideas about merit-based judgement and bonuses without showing how they support cooperation. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation and ensure examples directly support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on competition and cooperation, and a concluding opinion. This gives the reader a basic route through both views. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several links are unclear. For example, “On one and same people argue” does not clearly introduce the competition argument, while “but most of hard work became worthless” interrupts the explanation of cooperation. Repeated openings such as “Same with” make the discussion feel list-like, and references such as “these things” do not always identify a precise idea. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example to its point, and vary linking expressions so the argument develops more smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “team work,” “workload,” and “encourage,” so the main subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to follow. Phrases such as “work more harder,” “great ideas came into being,” and “judgeing this on marite” are not natural or precise in context. Frequent spelling errors, including “cooperateion,” “permottion,” and “enviornment,” also reduce clarity. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; aim for precise expressions such as “work collaboratively” and “earn a promotion.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some clauses explaining reasons, such as “because success can't come…” and “to get better marks.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often difficult to control. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “other thinks,” “this may have help them,” and “the employees work harder … and that encourages them.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, making some ideas hard to interpret. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and punctuation. Greater control of these patterns would make your reasoning easier to follow.
