Student answer (Band 5.5)
some individuals think that it is good thing competition at workplace, at schools, and in daily routine while, others believe that we ought try to work in teams as compared to competing against each other. I will discuss both views and my own opinion in further paragraph.
In the one hand, if employes will take participates in the competition with each other than they can share their idea properly. To explain it, if they do their work in competition then they will give your best for doing their work complete and they have a different ideas and way of work which will helpful for getting bonus and permotions. Another reason is that students can concentrate more on their studies if they will study in competition because thay can get higher scrores having their own knowledge. if people face competition in their daily lives then they can face any problems easily and gain confidence more.
On the other hand, it is good to do work and study in team rather than doing work in competition the reason behind this if workers doing their jobs in team then they can share their ideas with each other and take advice from each other, as a result they can done their more on time as well as perfectly. if think about students then they can do their study with interest in groups and enjoy their study and solve difficult tasks after help of each other.
In my opinion, i thinks it is good to do work or study in competitions because in competition they can boost their confidence level as well as use their own ideas and thoughts. Whereas, i think it is better to do work in teams or groups because thay can help each other and doing their job or stody perfectly on time.
In conclusion, althought doing work in competition is a good thing because they can use their own knowledge for done their work but i thinks sometimes cooperation is also a good cause they can done their work in groups after taking help and advice from each other.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the discussion and give a personal view: competition is presented as a way to build confidence and encourage individual effort, while teamwork allows people to exchange ideas and finish tasks. This is relevant to the prompt, but the position is not fully clear because you support competition in one paragraph and then say teamwork is better in another, without explaining how you reconcile these views. Several points are asserted rather than developed—for example, the claim that competition helps people face daily problems needs a specific explanation or example. To strengthen the response, state a consistent overall position and develop each main point with a clear reason and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow in broad terms. You also use signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In my opinion.” However, some linking is mechanical or unclear: “In the one hand” is not the appropriate contrast marker, and the long opening sentence in the teamwork paragraph joins several ideas without clear punctuation. The conclusion largely repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Use transitions accurately, make the relationship between ideas explicit, and organise each body paragraph around one main point followed by explanation or an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main ideas about competition and cooperation, and you attempt relevant terms such as “confidence,” “advice,” and “concentrate.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response less natural or occasionally difficult to understand. Examples include “take participates,” “a different ideas,” “higher scrores,” and “after help of each other.” Some key expressions, such as “do work in competition,” are repeated rather than varied. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms; using natural combinations such as “compete with colleagues” and “work collaboratively” would make your meaning clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional clauses beginning with “if” and explanations introduced by “because.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For instance, “if employes will take participates” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “they can done their more on time” does not form a grammatical clause. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly at the starts of sentences. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed subordinate clause, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms before adding more complexity.
