Student answer (Band 5.5)
A large number of individuals argue that combat in daily life in business and in school is beneficial. Others think that instead of competing one another, we should make an effort to work together more. I strongly believe that competition in daily life people gaining experience and growth personal career as well as stand out in society or nation.
On the one hand, there are numerous reasons people should fighit each other in their daily life. When people do competition at work and at school they have several benefits. If a business man combat others he earns large amount of money; moreover, become the rechest person in society. For example, a student compete at school, he may learn many things. As a result, in future his career become growth and stand out the society. Hence, I believe that competition is good thing while individuals doing it at in their daily life.
On the other hand, cooperation is one of the most important part for citizens, because they can acquir too much information from another. When people face difficulties, they may cooperate experience person. As a result, citizens can understand easily within a few minute. Cooperation gives us massive opportunity, when we discuss any topic in a group. By the collaboratively, we can solve all problems. Nonetheless, excessive competition may give mental stress, and life risk.
In conclusion, although work together with helping solve critical difficulties, I contend that competetion gives significant opportunity to build successfull career and growth personal life, as well as stand out the society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the discussion and state a clear preference for competition, particularly in the introduction and conclusion. The examples about a student learning at school and people sharing knowledge when facing difficulties are relevant to the topic. However, the ideas are only partly developed: the claim that competition helps a businessperson become wealthy is asserted rather than explained, and the benefits of cooperation are described generally without a specific example. Your position also needs more qualification, since you mention that excessive competition causes stress but do not explain how this affects your overall view. Develop each main point with a clear reason and a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for competition and cooperation, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the move from a businessperson earning money to a student learning at school is abrupt, and “As a result” does not clearly connect the student example to career growth. Some links are mechanical or imprecise, including “Nonetheless” before the final point about stress. Make each paragraph follow a clearer sequence of claim, explanation, and example, and ensure connectors express the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “difficulties,” “opportunity,” and “mental stress,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make parts difficult to interpret. “Combat” and “fight” suggest physical conflict rather than workplace or school competition, while “stand out the society” and “massive opportunity” are not natural in these contexts. Spelling errors such as “fighit,” “rechest,” “acquir,” and “competetion” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of expressions for competition and cooperation, and check spelling and common word partnerships when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If a business man combat others…” and a subordinate clause beginning “When people face difficulties.” However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently. For example, “a student compete” needs a correctly formed verb, “his career become growth” has an incorrect verb pattern, and “Cooperation is one of the most important part” has a number-agreement error. The opening sentence also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and verb forms.
