Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays era competition is part of everyones life, some people belive they are ready to face challanges at work place or at school or day to day life and they can compite with others moreover some people are disagree with this thought and they just want to take a coopeeate, they belive in sportsmen ship not in competing with others. as far as i'm concerned to take a part in competition not to defet anyone just to prove myslef.
Competition that word normally came from franch, in daily life that is available at every place, in specailly in school and proffetinal life, in early age out parent and traches teach us to be educated and achive good scores to get the better life and good work place, so we can say that since childhood kids are tranind to take the part in every competition and competing each other, it is good in addtion it will show the real calliber of candidate.
Nevertheless, that doesnt mean if you are taking a part in any competition it means you are wanted to compet with each other, every time it is not good for personal life and mental health. It may nagtively leave marks on mental health, it also create some fincailtion situation which are not able to recover, so always do not try to competing with other just try to take the part and show sportsmen ship and complete the task, not try to prove anything about anything just attempt to finesh the given job within given time and support other. I have seen a one real life event in may offie, my manager has given a genral task and everyone was trying to rushing and competing with other staff members but they forgot the qaulity of work and at the end no one was able to complete the given task within time with proper data, so if they aviod competition and discuss internally then may be they not face that consequence.
I am inclined to believe that competition it just the event which can help to identify which one is capable candidated, however it is one type of doubble egded sword, every particepant need to be loyal and follow the indie voice and play failry.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides by presenting competition as a way to reveal ability and cooperation as a way to protect wellbeing and improve shared work. Your own view appears in the opening and conclusion: competition can show who is capable, but participants should act fairly and support one another. The workplace example gives relevant support to the cooperation argument. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits of competition are mostly asserted, and the opposing view is not explained in much depth. The position also shifts somewhat between competing to prove oneself and avoiding competition. Develop each side with a clear reason and example, then state more consistently how competition and cooperation should be balanced.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to discussion of competition, then its drawbacks, a workplace example, and a concluding opinion. Paragraphing helps separate these stages, and connectors such as “Nevertheless” and “however” signal contrast. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several points are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the paragraph beginning “Nevertheless” moves from mental health to financial consequences, task completion, and the office example without clear transitions. Some linking expressions are also repetitive or awkwardly placed. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use shorter sentences to show how evidence supports it, and make references such as “that consequence” more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “competition,” “cooperate,” “mental health,” “quality of work,” and “double-edged sword.” These choices show that you can discuss both personal and workplace effects. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors or inaccurate word forms make the message harder to read, as in “challanges,” “compite,” “caliber,” and “participant.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “take a cooperate” and “financial situation which are not able to recover.” Aim to learn accurate topic-related phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for the effects of competition and the value of teamwork would help you explain your ideas without relying on repeated general wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with clauses, including “Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean…” and the sentence describing the manager’s task. This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence boundaries, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation can make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, the opening joins several complete ideas with commas, while “it also create” and “everyone was trying to rushing” show problems with agreement and verb patterns. The conclusion also lacks a clear grammatical structure. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause at a time. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence punctuation during revision.
